قُلْ لِمَنْ نَامَ خَلِيَّاً
مِنْ عَذَابِ المُسْتَهَامِ
Tell those who sleep alone,
Free from torment's grasp,
وَلِمَنْ أَغْرَى دُمُوعَ
العَيْنِ شَوْقَاً بِانْسِجَامِ
And those whose eyes rain tears
In harmonious longing,
وَأَذَابَ الجَسَدَ المُضْ
نَى بِأَنْوَاعِ السَّقَامِ
And those whose aching bodies
Waste away in sickness,
نَمْ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ جُفُونِي
لَمء تَذُقْ طَعْمَ المَنَامِ
That though my eyes are wet
And know not sleep's taste,
مَاتَ شَافِيْكَ وَلاَ زِلْتَ
Your healer lives, so hope.
