Indeed, Mazluma, who
was married to Abu Umar,
gave birth on her wedding night
to a son for her husband.
I said, “Where did this boy come from,
when no human has touched her?”
Her husband said to me, “Has it not
been stated in a transmitted report:
‘A man's child belongs to the marriage bed,
and the adulterer gets the stone’?”
I said, “Congratulations on him, in
spite of anyone who contradicts the report.”
