You gazed at the blueness in my ring
And said, “Why does this attire belong to grief?”
Since your love died and came to an end,
I cried it in blood and in streaming tears.
And I wished to wear the garb of mourning, for
It is the garb of the sorrowful, the wandering grief-stricken.
And I feared if I wore it openly
They would guess, so I wore it on my ring.
