1. أَمَّا الظَّلاَمُ فَقَدْ رَقَّتْ غِلاَلَتُه

    وَالُّصُبْحُ حِيْنَ بَدَا بِالنُّورِ يَخْتَالُ

    The darkness' chains have loosened

    And the morning gleams with light

  2. فَانْظُرْ بِعَيْنِكَ أَغْصَانَ الشَّقَائِقِ فِي

    فُرُوعِهَا زَهَرٌ فِي الحُسْنِ أَمْثَالُ

    Look with your eyes at the anemone branches

    Blossoms of beauty upon them in sight

  3. مِنْ كُلِّ مُشْرِقَةِ الأَوْرَاقِ نَاضِرَةٍ

    لَهَا عَلَى الغُصْنِ إِيْقَادٌ وَإِشْعَالُ

    Leaves flourishing with radiance

    Like flames kindled bright

  4. حَمْرَاءُ مِنْ صِبْغَةِ البِارِي بِقُدْرَتِهِ

    مَصْقُولَةٌ لَمْ يَنَلْهَا قَطُّ صَقَّالُ

    Red by the Maker's dye

    Polished smooth and right

  5. كَأَنَّهَا وَجَنَاتٌ أَرْبَعٌ جُمِعَتْ

    وَكُلُّ وَاحِدَةٍ فِي صِحْنِهَا خَالُ

    As if four gardens combined

    Each in its bowl, unique and upright
