Gazelle-eyed, with gracefully swaying
The savagery of her eyes, the tenderness of her arms
flanks, reared in the palace.
From the upbringing of the palace
The full moon cannot take her place for you when
The full moon cannot make up for her if she is absent
she is absent, yet she can take the full moon's place for you.
Yet she makes up for the full moon
In her mouth are musk and chilled wine,
In her mouth there is musk, and she is filled
unmixed, and a string of pearls.
With eloquence and poetry of pearls
The musk is for her breath, and the wine for her
So the musk is for fragrance, the wine for wetting the palate
saliva, and the pearls for her teeth.
And the pearls for the lips
