And Jerusalem is my faith
Its Arabness is on my body
And in my eyes its entity
And I have in my pronunciation of "D" the pulse of blood
When it irrigates the veins
I am the Arab, I have ancestry
Of pure face, secured
And I have a heart full of passion
Infatuated with the love of its people
And the veins are full homeland
Inhabited with affection
We have a house built in dreams
And from our bodies its clay
So no one stays without homeland
The stranger of the house, sad
And the sound of their return rises:
We have returned, O Palestine!
