معارف أم مجاهل أم روايه

تمثل في البلاد بلا درايه

Knowledge or ignorance or a story

Acts in the country without insight

وأبطال الرواية من بنيها

ومخرجها المدير إلى النهايه

And the heroes of the story are from it

And its director leads it to the end

وأشخاص الرواية طالبات

وطلاب ولكن دون غايه

And the characters of the story are female students

And male students but without purpose

إذا أمر المدير فلا اعتراض

لأمر المستبد ولا شكايه

If the director orders, there is no objection

To the order of the despot and no complaint

لقد أحسنت بعد بحث

بهذا الفصل فعلا دعايه

You have done well after research

With this class it is really propaganda

فانك سوف ترهب كل فصل

يحاول أن يكود به غوايه

For you will terrify every class

That tries to be in it sedition

وإن غواية الوطن استبدت

بهذا الجيل كن سبب الهدايه

And if the sedition of the homeland prevailed

With this generation, be the cause of guidance

وأخرج للبلاد دمي وأكد

لنا أن السلامة في الحمايه

And bring out my blood for the country and confirm

That safety is in protection

ولا تحسب لأهلهم حسابا

ولا لبلادهم أدنى عنايه

And do not take their people into account

Or their country the slightest care

فإنك سيد وهم عبيد

بمحض إرداة يا للعمايه

For you are a master and they are slaves

With pure blindness, oh what blindness
