قد نُظِمَ الشملُ أَتَمَّ انتظامُ
واغتَنَم الأَحْبَابُ قُربَ الحبيبْ
The clan is now united, perfectly aligned,
The loved ones relish the beloved's proximity,
واستضحَكَ الروضُ ثُغور الكِمامُ
عن مَبْسِمِ الزَّهْرِ البَرودِ الشّنيب
The meadow laughs, revealing its pretty lips,
At the smile of the cool, delicate flowers.
وعَمَّمَ النَّوْرُ رؤوسَ الرُّبى
وجَلَّلَ النُّورُ صُدُورَ البِطَاحْ
The light has crowned the hilltops,
The light has adorned the meadows' chests,
وصافحَ القُضْبَ نسيمُ الصَّبا
فالزَّهْرُ يَرنُو عن عيون وَقاحُ
The morning breeze greets the twigs,
Thus the flowers gaze with bold eyes.
وعاودَ النهرَ زمانُ الصّبا
فَقَلَّدَ الزَّهْرَ مكان الوشاحْ
The river regained its youth,
Adorning the flowers in place of the scarf.
وأَطْلَعَ القَصْرُ بُرودَ التمامَ
في طالع الفتح القريبِ الغريبْ
The palace reveals its perfect completion
At the rise of the near, strange victory.
خدودُها قامتْ مُقامَ الغَمامْ
فلا اشتكَى من بَعدهَا بالمغيبْ
Her cheeks take the place of clouds,
None shall lament her absence at sunset.
أَصْبَحْتِ يا ريَّةُ مَجْلس النُفوسُ
جَمالُكِ العَيْنَ بها يَبْهُرُ
O Rayya, the souls' assembly you've graced,
Your beauty dazzles every eye,
والبِشْرُ يَسْري في جميع الشُموسْ
ورايةُ الأُنس بها تُشْهَرُ
Good tidings spread among all the suns,
The flag of intimacy raised high.
والدَوحُ للشكرِ تحطُّ الرؤوسْ
وأَنجمُ الزَّهر بها تُزْهِرُ
Heads bow down giving thanks,
The stars of flowers bloom thereby.
وراجَعَ النهرَ غناءُ الحَمامْ
وقد شَدَتْ تَسْجَعُ سَجْعَ الخطيبْ
The doves returned the river's song,
Their lament resembles the lover's cry.
بِمِنْبَرِ الغصنِ الرشيقِ القَوامْ
لَمَّا انْثَنَى يَهْفُو بقدٍ رطيبْ
Leaning, sighing with gentle passion
From the slim, graceful branch's pulpit.
يا حَبَّذا مبناكِ فخرُ القصورْ
برُوجُهُ طَالتْ برُوجَ السما
How splendid your edifice, mansions' pride!
Its towers reaching to the sky's abodes,
ما مثلُهُ في سالفاتِ العُصُورْ
ولا الذي شادَ ابنُ ماء السما
None like it in eras gone by,
Not what the son of the lofty built.
كم فيهِ من مَرْأى بهيجٍ ونورْ
في مرتقى الجو به قد سما
What visions of beauty and light it holds!
Rising high in the aerial clime.
خَليفة اللهِ ونِعْمَ الإمامْ
أَتْحَفَكَ الدّهْرُ بصنعٍ عَجيبْ
God's Caliph, the Imam so great,
Time has gifted you with a wonder.
يهنيكَ شملٌ قد غدَا في التئامْ
مُمهَّداً في ظلِّ عيشٍ خصيبْ
A unity is gladdened under your shade,
Paved in the shadow of a fruitful life.
نواسمُ الوادي بمسك تَفُوحْ
ونَفْحَةُ النَّدَّ به تَعْبَقُ
The valley's breezes are scented with musk,
The meadow exudes the nadd's breath,
وبهجةُ السكان فيهِ تَلُوحْ
وجَوُّه من نورهم يُشْرقُ
Its inhabitants' delight is in full view,
Its essence shines with their light.
وروضُهُ بالسِّرِّ منْهُ يَبوحْ
بلابلٌ عن وَجْدِهِ تنطِقُ
Its meadow, keeping secrets, speaks of,
Nightingales telling of their fervor.
لَوْ أَنَّ مَنْ يَفْهَمُ عنها الكلامْ
فَهْيَ تُهنّيكَ هناءَ الأديبْ
If only who understands their prattle,
Congratulates you with the cultured's joy.
ونهرُهُ قد سلَّ منه الحُسامْ
يلحظُهُ النَّرْجِسُ لحظَ المريبْ
Its river has unsheathed its swords,
The narcissi gaze on it amazed.
فَأَجْمَلُ الأيام عَصْرُ الشبابْ
وأَجْمَلُ الأَجْمَلِ يَوْمُ اللقا
The prime of days is ever youth,
The prime of prime is the day we met.
يا دُرَّةَ القصر وشَمْسَ القبابْ
وهازمَ الأحزَاب في الملتقى
O pearl of the palace, sun of its domes,
Vanquisher of enemies where we converged.
بشّركَ الربُّ بحسن المآبْ
متعك اللهُ بطولِ البقا
May God give you the tidings of virtuous consequence,
Provide you with longevity.
ولا يَزالُ القَصْرُ قَصْرُ السلامْ
يختالُ في بُرْدِ الشباب القشيبْ
Forever may the palace remain the abode of peace,
Gleaming in the coolness of venerable youth.
يتلو عليك الدهر في كل عامْ
نصر من الله وَفتح قريبْ
Each year time recites over you,
Victory from God and conquest near.
