فقدت عليا حيث كنت اوده

فاوجعني من قبل موتي فقده

I lost Ali where I used to love him

So his loss pained me before my death

لقد مات معناه وان بقى اسمه

عسى باعث الموتى علينا يرده

His meaning has died though his name remains

May He who revives the dead return him to us
