فمَن مبلغٌ أهلَ المتاحف أننا

نعُدّ ألوفاً من صنوفِ اللطائفِ

So who will tell those in museums that we

Count thousands of kinds of subtleties

ونخطو عليها بالنعال كأنّ ذا

مباح فلم ينكر بعرف المعارفِ

And tread on them with sandals as if this

Is permitted, known among the enlightened
