قضى نحبه عريان والخلْدُ زينت

للقياه والأنهار من تحتها تجري

He fulfilled his love naked, and eternity adorned

To meet Him, with rivers flowing beneath

وألبسه المولى رضاه فأرخوا

سرى رافلاً عريانُ في حلل البشرِ

And the Master dressed him in His approval, so they loosed

The ties and he went naked in the raiment of humanity
