أعل مقام وليك الرباني
God, God, God
The Highest Station is for Your Godly Friend
رضوان مولى الجود والاحسان
يغشي الانام المرشد الثقلان
The Good Pleasure of the Lord of Generosity and Kindness
Covers the people, the weighty guide
نجل الغياث المستغاث به الذي
لازال في النكبات غوث العان
Son of succor, the one called upon in adversity
Who still, during catastrophes, brings relief to the helpless
بحر الحقيقة روض علم اللَه من
في حضرة الاجلال فرد الشان
Sea of Truth, Garden of God's Knowledge
In the Presence of Greatness, the Unique
برق السنا من ضياه اضاءت ال
أكوان سبط المنتقى العدنان
Flash of Glory, from whose illumination
The universes shone, the Chosen One of 'Adnan
بدر الهدي للمهتدين وبالندى
عن خلق ربي مزجر النيران
Full moon of guidance for the guided, and with dew
From the creation of my Lord, warding off the fires
مفتاح جنات لهم عند انسكا
ب الدمع كالهتان بالأجفان
Key to the Gardens for them at the flowing
Of tears like passionate love with the eyelids
طود المعالي قدوة الفضلا الذي
لازال في حي العلا فردان
Mountain of Sublimity, exemplar of superiority
Who still remains unmatched in the state of exaltation
بطل الوغى من في معاني مجده
حارت أولا الالباب والاذهان
Hero of combat, those who understand his Glory
Are confounded, the minds and intellects
مستودع البركات نعم مقدس
عن أن يضاهي في علا بالثان
Treasury of Blessings, yes sacred
Above being matched in exaltation by another
هو روضة الأمل المرجى منة
هو للخليفة تحفة المنان
He is the Meadow of Hope sought from him
He is for the Caliph the gift of Providence
هو غيث مرحمة يعمم جميعنا
هتانه كل الورى ريان
He is a rain of mercy encompassing all of us
Loving him are all of existence receiving sustenance
هو مزن فيض أحل من منٍّ وسل
وى للورى كافي كلا الداران
He is a cloud of overflowing favor, more gracious than a gift
And enough for both worlds, the eternal and transient
هو رحمة اللَه التي رحمت بها
كل الخلائق انسها والجهان
He is the Mercy of God with which all creatures are graced
Mankind and jinn together
هو صورة بشرية ممزوجة
بمكارم الأخلاق والاحسان
He is the human exemplar infused
With noble morals and kindness
هو من به اخضر الوجود حقيقة
هو أصل منشي الخلق والاكوان
He is the one by whom existence turned verdant in truth
The source of all creation and universes
هو في الملاحم ضيغم يخشونه
ومشتت المجموع في الميدان
He in battlefields is a lion feared
Routing the assembled forces on the field
هو هازم الأقران في وثباته
كالليث في آجامه ايقان
Vanquishing all rivals with his assault
Like a lion in its den, with certainty
هو بالسفينة والوقار معمم
ومدملج بملابس العرفان
He is revered, dignified, cloaked
And clad in the raiment of mystical knowledge
والمجد والعز المكين رداؤه
من سمته تتزين الكونان
Glory, honor, power is his mantle
With his loftiness both worlds are adorned
ذو سطوة عظمى لمن فينا غوى
وأخو السماحة ان اساء الجاني
With magnificent authority over those among us astray
And brotherly forgiveness if the offender is remorseful
فخزائن المولى غدا مأمونها
هو مالك الملك العلا والداني
So the treasuries of the Lord are entrusted to him
As possessor of the supreme dominion
والكون شكل وهو روح حياته
بل بهجة الاعصار والازمان
And the cosmos is form while he is its life spirit
Rather, the joy of times and eras too
فلك النجاة لغارق وسفينة
مشحونة بمكارم الرحمن
Ship of salvation for one drowning and a vessel
Laden with the Generous one's nobility
مفتاح كل دقيقة وثقيلة
حاوي علوم السر والاعلان
Key to each subtle and weighty matter
Containing the knowledge of mystery and unveiling
شمس بلا طفل وبدر ضوؤه
جالي ظلام الشرك بالايمان
Sun without setting, his light shining
Dispelling the darkness of idolatry through faith
بعبادة المولى فريد أوانه
محيي الدجا بتلاوة القرآن
In worship of the Lord uniquely is his time spent
Reviving the darkness by reciting the Qur'an
من خشية المولى تراه كالهبا
في كل حال باكي العينان
Out of awe of the Lord is he seen shedding tears
Weeping in every state with eyes overflowing
من قبل منشاه أقر بفضله
أهل التقى مثل الولي الجيلان
From before his arrival the people of piety acknowledged
His merit, like the Saint Jilani
قسمي بطه المصطفى وببنته
وبحيدر وابنيهما السبطان
I swear by the purity of Mustafa and his daughter
And Haydar and his two noble grandsons
يا من له خلق عظيم كالصبا
وطبيعة فانت ريا الريحان
O you whose nature is magnificent like the morning
And essence, you are the fragrant sweet basil
يا من علاها م السماك علاه من
لك رتبة تسمو على الكونان
O you who ascends higher than the heavens' culmination
For you is a station transcending the two worlds
يا من به ثمر المحامد يجتني
يا سيدي يا هاشم البطلان
O you by whom the fruits of praise are harvested
My master, O valiant Hashimi
أجب الذي من بعده ناداكم
وانشله من نصب ومن أحزان
Answer the one who after him called upon you
And rescue him from hardship and sorrows
لازلت تنقذ من بحرزك محتمى
من كل شر منشل اللهفان
You continue to save from perils the one seeking refuge
From every evil, rescuing the ardent
أنت المعد بمثلها يا من به ال
دين الحنيف مشيد الاركان
You were prepared with the likes of it, O you in whom
The religion is established, pillar of its principles
منى عليك سلام رب العرش ما
خلعت عليك ملابس العرفان
Peace from the Lord of the Throne upon you
As he adorned you in the raiment of mystical knowledge
ثم الصلاة مع السلام على الذي
صلى عليه اللَه في التبيان
Then prayers and peace upon the one
Whom God eulogized in the Revelation
الآل والاصحاب والانصار ما
سجعت حمام فوق غصن البان
His nation, companions, and supporters
As long as the doves coo upon the branch of the acacia
أو ما ترنم في علاك محمد
فغدا حليف الوجد والاشجان
Or as long as Muhammad is hymned in your loftiness
Thus becoming familiar with fervor and passions
