صلاة اللَه تغشي كل وقت

نبياً جاءنا بالبينات

The prayers of God envelop every time

A prophet came to us with clear proofs

وأزكاها التحية مع سلام

عليه وآله سفن النجات

And the best of greetings and peace be upon him

and his family, the ships of salvation

وأصحاب جهابذة كرام

ومتصفين حقاً بالنهات

And his companions, honorable giants

And those truly described with perfection

أقاموا الدين بل وسبيل هدى

وأسد في الوغا غررٌ ثقات

They established the religion and the path of guidance

And lions in battle, trusted and firm

ألم يكف لظبيِ البان هجر

ألم يسمع بوصل منه يات

Has the reproach of the one who blames sufficed

Has he not heard the news of his affection?

إلى أهل الصفا بالظعن عرِّج

لكي تشفي نفوساً شايقات

To the people of nobility, with blame he turned

So that he may heal longing souls

نبيٌّ حاز خير النعت وصفاً

وأحسن ما روى عنه الرواة

A prophet who attained the best attribution and description

And the best that narrators recounted of him

هدىً وندىً واحسانا وفيضاً

ونهىٌ ثم أمرٌ والعظات

Guidance, brilliance, kindness and abundance

And prohibition, then command and sermons

ووجه ساد مخجل بدرَ تِم

رسول اللَه كاملٌ وصفاً وذات

A face that outshone the full moon in splendor

The Messenger of God, perfect in attribution and essence

يريك الهدى من مشكاة ذات

وفاق بحسن خلق والصفات

He shows you guidance from a niche of perfection

And excelled in good manners and traits

تجلى في الليال ففاق بدراً

وكم آي تراها ساطعات

He shone in the nights, surpassing the full moon

And how many signs you see radiating from him

بخدٍّ أبيض قد حاز ورداً

بوجنته سبا عقلَ الكمات

With a white cheek that attained roses

With his smile captivating all minds

حوي من تلك خيرات حسان

وحاز للفضل والنصر الثبات

He contained the best of virtues and refinements

And attained precedence and steadfast victory

فذاك مُبرَّأ من كل نقص

وخصَّ من العلا بالمكرمات

He is absolved of every deficiency

And distinguished with the most generous favors

فكم أغنى بجودٍ ذا افتقار

اذا في بابه وقف العفات

So how has he enriched those in need with his generosity

When the chaste stood at his door

عليه اللَه أثنى في كتاب

وعظَّم خلقه بين الهدات

God praised him in the Book

And exalted his manners among the guides

عليك معولي في كل حال

فأنتم بغيتي أنتم نجات

Upon you I depend in every situation

For you are my goal, you are my salvation

عسى فتحاً قريباً لي أرُمه

ونَيلاً من فيوض مُهنئات

I hope for an imminent opening from Him

And attainment of the overflowing congratulations

وشرباً سائغاً وافٍ وشاف

كؤوسٌ تلك ليس مكدرات

And a delicious, wholesome, healing drink

Those cups contain no bitterness

على حسن الختام أُرَج موتا

وسعداً في الحياة وفي الممات

I hope for a good end, to die

Happy in life and death

وأرجو منك لي أمناً وحفظاً

وصفحاً مَنك في ماض وآت

And I ask you for safety and protection

And pardon from you for the past and future

يكون ملازماً صحبي وذات

وفوزاً ثم محوا لسيآت

To accompany me and my essence

And success, then erasing my misdeeds

وصلى اللَه ربي كل وقت

عليك وآلك الصحب الثقات

And may God, my Lord, pray every time

Upon you and your companions, the trusted

متى ما غردت ليلاً سحيراً

حماقة فوق أغصان النبات

Whenever I sing at night, sleepless

Foolish, upon the branches of plants

متى ما هاشم قد قال مدحاً

رويداً حاديَ الظعن المشاة

Whenever Al-Hashimi says with praise

Steadily, the guide of blame, the walker
