صلاة اللَه ما سحت غمامة

على المختار ذي الوجه الصبيح

The prayer of Allah has not swept a cloud

Over the Chosen One with the radiant face

نبي فاضل حاوي المعاني

وخير الوصف والعقل الرجيح

The noble Prophet full of meanings

With the best traits and sound mind

بآيات مبينة أتانا

بهدي جاء والدين الصحيح

He brought us clear verses

With guidance and the true religion

هدى يتلى علينا ذي بيان

وأمر مسند حسن وضيح

Guidance recited to us with clarity

And ordered, good and clear

عسى الرحمن من إفضال طه

ينلنا جواده ذاك الربيح

May the Merciful grant us from His bounty

The fragrant generosity of that Lord

جوار في الجنان بدار خلد

وحور نعم نبا منزل فسيح

Neighborhood in the Gardens of immortality

And beautiful maidens, pleasant vast home

حوى المختار خيرات حسان

وأكمل منطق عذب فصيح

The Chosen One contained good traits

And the most perfect sweet eloquence

يهبنا توبة ورضاه دوماً

يطهرنا من الدنس القبيح

May He grant us repentance and pleasure always

Purify us from the ugly stain

فاني الآن مرؤ مستهام

وصب مغرم دَنف طريح

I am now a lovesick, passionate man

My heart poured out and broken in pieces

غرامي الصدق سار به الركائب

وبعلمه أخو حبٍ فليح

My true passion set out with the traveling party

And through his knowledge a loving brother healed

ليبك معي على هجري البواكي

وبرث لنا أخو ود صحيح

Weep with me over my abandonment, O weepers

And inherit for us a brotherly love, sound

كأني لن أكون حبيب شخص

فيرث لحالتي ويكن نجيح

As if I will not be a loved one's beloved

So inherit my state and be successful

فديتك ما الوشاة رثو العذل

وصرت مبرحاً جسمي وروحي

I ransom you - how the slanderers maligned the lover

And I became deranged in body and soul

بذكر محمد سُرَّت نفوس

بمدح ان سري مستريح

With the mention of Muhammad, souls rejoiced

With praising him, my secret is content

حبيب اللَه قد أثنى عليه

زكى خلقه هاد نصيح

The Beloved of Allah has praised him

Purifying his manners, guiding and advising

وأرسله المليك لنا غياثا

رسول صادق برٌّ مليح

And the King sent him to us as salvation

A truthful Messenger, good and beautiful

عليه اللَه صلى كل وقت

متى ما يلمع البرق الوضيح

May Allah bless him at every time

Whenever the bright lightning flashes

وآل والصحابة ثم حزب

وشيعة صاحب الوجه الصبيح

And his family, companions and party

And the adherents of the one with the radiant face

متى ما نال وصلهم محب

وناح وقال من قلب جريح

Whenever a lover attains their company

Cries and says from a wounded heart

وسلم دائماً ما قال صب

بدمع زاد من جفن قريح

And always salutes what the passionate one recited

With tears that increased from a dripping eyelid

ومهما الدوح رنحه نسيم

وحرك بانة الأغصان ريح

And however much the singer laments

And the breeze stirs the branches of the trees

وألف هاشم مدحاً ونظماً

وأطرب للجماعة في المديح

May Hashim's family praise and compose verses

And make music for the group with praise
