وقالوا من نكَحْتَ فقلتُ خيراً

عجوزاً من عُرَيْنةَ ذاتَ مالِ

And they asked whom I married, so I said,

An old woman from Urina, possessing wealth.

نكحتُ عُجَيِّزاً ونقَدْتُ ألفاً

كذاكَ البيْعُ مرتَخَصٌ وغالِ

I married an old woman and gained a thousand,

Thus is the sale undervalued yet expensive.
