يا قائد العرب في أقسى معاركه

أنت الزعيم وأنت الضيغم الضاري

O leader of the Arabs in their toughest battles

You are the leader, the raging storm

فلو تجسمت الأمجاد في رجل

لكنت أنت بلاشك وإنكار

If glories took the form of a man

You would be him, without doubt or denial

أنت الهمام الذي لولاك ما نهضت

عروبتي ومضت في عنف إعصار

You are the pillar, without whom my Arabism would not have risen

And sailed in the violence of a hurricane

تشق درب المعالي غير عابئة

بما على الدرب من شوك وأحجار

Cutting through the path of glories, not bothered

By the thorns and rocks on the path

حققت في شهر تموز لنا أمل

متوجاً بأكاليل من الغار

In July you achieved for us a dream

Crowned with garlands of achievement

بثورة قمت ضد الظلم فانتصرت

بك العروبة بعد الذل والعار

With a revolution you rose up against injustice and prevailed

Through you, Arabism recovered from disgrace and shame

طردت من أرض مصر الغاصبين وقد

عاثوا فساداً بأهل الدار والدار

You expelled the invaders from the land of Egypt when

They had spread corruption among the people

ثم استعدت قناة العرب في كلم

فأصبح القول ذا شأن وآثار

Then you regained the Suez Canal in an instant

And words became significant and impactful

فهدد الغرب بالحرب الضروس فلم

تأبه به لا ولم تجبن لإنذار

The West threatened a fierce war but you

Did not care, you did not cower from warnings

صمدت في وجه من جاءوا لينتقمو

فرد كيد البغاة الخالق الباري

You stood fast against those who came to take revenge

So God foiled the evil schemes of the transgressors

آزرت ثورة شعب في جزائرن

حتى تحرر من نير ومن نار

You supported the revolution of a people in our Algeria

Until it was liberated from shackles and fire

قد كنت ناصره إبان محنته

واليوم تنجده في الحادث الطاري

You had been its supporter during its ordeal

And today you come to its aid in this sudden calamity

وعندما قام سلال بثورته

لينقذ الشعب من ظلم وأضرار

And when Sulal rose up in his revolution

To save the people from injustice and harm

من الظلام من الطغيان قاومه

من لا يراعي حقوق اله والجار

From darkness, from tyranny he resisted

One who does not respect the rights of God and neighbor

ساندت شعبا بجيش لو صدمت به

شم الحبال لغارت أي إغوار

You supported a people with an army, if confronted

It would have demolished any citadels

حققت جل أمانينا غايتن

في وحدة جمعتنا ضد كفار

You achieved most of our hopes and desires

In unity that brought us together against infidels

وضد من جزأوا ظلما لنا وطن

موحدا في دويلات وأقطار

And against those who unjustly divided our homeland

Into states and emirates

أفروا فلسطين من أرضي ومن وطني

وقدموها لأفاكين أشرار

They evacuated Palestine from my land and homeland

And handed it over to wicked villains

وشردوا شعبها في كل مهمهة

بين الجريح وبين الجائع العاري

And displaced its people in every demeaning way

Among the wounded and the naked starving

فاثأر لشعب جنى المستعمرون على

أرض له فغدت ملكاً لفجار

So take revenge for a people the colonists wronged

On land that became the possession of degenerates

حرر بنا أرض أجدادي السليبة من

صهيون إنا لفي شوق إلى الثار

Liberate for us the stolen land of my ancestors from

Zionists, we long for vengeance

لا تنس ان عُمانا قد ألم به

نفس المصاب ومقدار بمقدار

Do not forget Oman has been afflicted

With the same wound, blow for blow

مدت إليك يد الشكوى لتنقذه

مما تلاقيه من ظلم وأخطار

It extended to you a hand of complaint to save it

From the injustice and dangers it faces

فاستعجل الأمر أنقذ من أريد به

شرا فقد وقعت في كف جبار

So expedite the matter, save the one I want

Harm for, he has fallen into the grip of an oppressor

واسلم ودم للعلا والمجد ما صدحت

بلابل بنشيد فوق أزهار

And bid farewell and blood to glory, however loudly

The nightingales sang above the flowers

منذ الخلاقة لم تنجب عروبتن

كناصر مثلا أعلى لأحرار

Since creation, Arabism has not given birth

To a champion of the free like you
