I warned the tribe of Fihr one morning when I met them,

By Wahayb's well, though guesses must be heeded.

I said to them: 'The meadow there has harmful serpents.

Though it has some rich grass where cattle graze,

It harbors poison if its people pasture there,

Or others come and on its greenery feed.'
