يشهد لله أنكم شهدءُ
يشهد لأنبيءُ ولأوليءُ
You bear witness for Allah that you are martyrs
You bear witness for the prophets and the saints
متمُ كي تعز كلمة ربي
في ربوعٍ أعزه لإسرءُ
In order for the word of my Lord to be honored
In the lands that He made glorious for al-Israa’
نتحرتم ؟! نحن لذين نتحرن
بحية ٍ أموته أحيءُ
Are we the ones who sacrificed?! We who sacrifice
Our lives to make them live
أيه لقوم نحن متن فهي
نستمع م يقول فين لرثءُ
Oh people, we are the ones who sacrifice but they
Listen to what the mourner says about us
قد عجزن حتى شكى لعجز منّ
وبكين حتى زدرن لبكءُ
We have despaired to the point that even the desperate complained
And we cried until those who cry were fed up
وركعن حتى شمأز ركوعٌ
ورجون حتى ستغث لرجءُ
And we bowed down until those bowing were horrified
And hoped until those hoping became exhausted
ورتمين على طوغيتِ بيتٍ
أبيض ٍ ملءُ قلبه لظلمءُ...
And we threw ourselves upon the tyranny of a house
White, filled with oppression...
ولعقن حذء شرون حتى
صح ..مهل..قطعتموني لحذءُ
But enough! You have cut me off from hope!
Oh people! We are the ones who sacrifice, but
أيه لقومُ نحنُ متن ولكن
أنفت أن تضمن لغبرءُ
The dust refused to cover us
Say to the virgins of the martyrs
قل (لآيت) يعروس لعولي
كل حسنٍ لمقلتيك لفدءُ
Every beauty is my ransom for you
When the stallions of my noble people are castrated
حين يُخصى لفحول صفوة قومي
تتصدى ...للمجرمِ لحسنءُ
The beautiful one stands up to the criminal
She kisses death while laughing joyfully
تلثم لموت وهي تضحك بشرً
ومن لموت يهرب ُ لزعمءُ
While the leaders flee from death
She opened its doors and the heavens shattered
فتحت ببه لجننُ وهشت
وتلقتك فطم ُ لزهرءُ
And you came out, a blossoming flower
Say to those who wove the fatwa: Patience!
قل لمن دبجو لفتوى رويد
ربَ فتوى تضجُ منه لسمءُ
A fatwa that makes the sky tremble!
When effort calls, the ink is silenced
حين يدعو لجهد ُ يصمتُ
حِبْرٌ ويرع ولكتبُ ولفقهءُ
Along with the books and jurists
When effort calls, no fatwa is asked for!
حين يدعو لجهدُ ل ستفتءُ
لفتوى يوم لجهد لدمءُ
The fatwa on the day of effort is blood!
