Let me drink, for there's no morning for a drinker

And no tomorrow closer than today

Let me drink, for in the cups of drunkenness

My worries are appeased and my composure fades

And when the brilliant dawn breaks, I will go

To hunt, alone and not the least bit tamed

And in the morning charge, my sword held high

Against all, young and old, without being blamed
