Sulayma had decided to move on

So where do you propose we go?

She had said to the girls of her tribe

    Who had lovely, radiant faces:

"Come, the life for us is good here

So come, let us move here."

    The night grew dark

    And no eyes could see,

So they came to her hurriedly,

    Moving rhythmically,

To a place like the waving sands -

    The dwelling place adorned.

    To cheeks so soft -

We drew near and offered greetings.

    They wished, those maidens,

And we became what they wished.

While this was happening, I was welcomed -

They bid me enter and greeted me.
