And I am their brother in every affliction,
When they die, they will not find a brother like me.
My soul gives generously to them with what my hands possess,
My help, so no shamefulness upon them, nor my stinginess.
And for a master whom I defend driving harm away from him out of nobility,
If I wished he would spend the evening angry with me out of disrespect,
But I protect those blamed and belong
To the path of fathers who grew my nobility before me.
