سلام على من جاء بالحق والهدى
ومن لم يزل بالمعجزات مؤيداً
Peace be upon the one who came with truth and guidance,
And whom miracles continually aided,
سلام على خير البرية شيمة
وأكرمها نفساً وبيتاً ومحتدا
Peace be upon the best of creation in morals,
And the most generous in soul, home and conduct.
سلام على المختار من آل هاشمٍ
إذا انتخبوا للفخر أحمدَ أمجدا
Peace be upon the Chosen One from the House of Hashim,
When excellence was sought, Ahmad the Most Glorious was selected.
سلام على زين النَّدى إذا انتدى
وأجمل ذي حلم تعمم وارتدى
Peace be upon the beauty of softness when it is donned,
And the most beautiful in forbearance when it is dressed.
سلام على من سلِّمت لجلاله ال
أمانةُ مذ شد الإزار ومذ شدا
Peace be upon the one entrusted from the start of adolescence,
With a Message he strengthened when he girded his waist.
سلامٌ على من طهر الله قلبه
فأصدر شرحُ الصدر منه وأوردا
Peace be upon the one whose heart Allah purified,
So the relief of his chest and its tenderness flowed.
سلامٌ على المحبو من حب ربه
حباءَ الذي يُسمى الجيب الممجدا
Peace be upon the Beloved whose love for his Lord,
Is called the heart that is glorified.
سلامٌ على من نوه الله باسمه
فأثبته في العرش سطراً مقيداً
Peace be upon the one whose name Allah lauded,
Affirming it in the Throne in a transcribed line.
سلامٌ على من ساق جبريل نحو ال
براق وقال اركبْ كرمت موفّداً
Peace be upon the one to whom Gabriel walked,
To the Lote saying: Mount, you are sent as a gift.
سلامٌ على من خصه الله بالعلا
وأسمى له فوق السموات مُصعداً
Peace be upon the one whom Allah privileged with the Ascent,
And elevated above the heavens a climbing place.
سلامٌ على من سار في الليل سيداً
فزار من البيت المقدس مسجداً
Peace be upon the one who by night traveled as Master,
Visiting the Farthest Mosque from the Sacred House.
سلامٌ على من رحبت بقدومه
ملائكة قالت له اصعد لتسعدا
Peace be upon the one the angels welcomed,
Saying to him: Ascend, that you may attain bliss.
سلامٌ على من حَلَّ بالسدرة التي
هي المنتهى فاختل للصدق مقعدا
Peace be upon the one who reached the Lote Tree,
The boundary, where seats of sincerity shook.
سلام على من كان من قرب ربه
كقاب ولا أين هناك ولا لدى
Peace be upon the one who was near his Lord,
Like the distance of two bows, or even less.
سلام على من أسند الله وحيه
إليه فعن اسناده الدين أسندا
Peace be upon the one to whom Allah entrusted His revelation,
Upon whose transmission the religion was founded.
سلام على من أن بالرسل ممسياً
فأضحى إماماً للنبيين سيداً
Peace be upon the one made leader of Messengers,
Becoming the Imam of Prophets, the Master.
سلام على من كان فاتح فضلهم
ولكن بفضل الختم قد كان مفردا
Peace be upon the one who opened their merit,
But with the merit of the Seal was singular.
سلام على النور الذي كان كامناً
بآدم إذ خر الملائك سجدا
Peace be upon the Light that was latent
In Adam when the angels prostrated to him.
سلام على من كان أشرف دعوةٍ
بها شرف الله الخليلَ ومحمدا
Peace be upon the one whose call was the most noble -
Through it Allah ennobled the Friend and Ahmad.
سلام على من ودّ موسى أتباعه
ودان بإيمان به وتعبدا
Peace be upon the one whose followers Moses cherished,
Believing in him, worshiping and obeying ardently.
سلامٌ على بشرى المسيح بن مريم
فقد صدقت للصادق الوعد موعدا
Peace be upon Jesus’ giving glad tidings of Ahmad,
The truthful one, his promised time arriving faithfully.
سلامٌ على نجل الذبيحين أنه
لتكريمه خصّ الذبيحان بالفدا
Peace be upon the son of two slaughtered ones, for
His honor the two slaughtered ones ransomed willingly.
سلامٌ على من نال آباؤه به
لدى الحرمِ المحجوج عزاً وسؤددا
Peace be upon the one whose fathers gained through him
Honor at the Forbidden Sanctuary frequented dutifully.
سلام على من أبصرت أمه له
من النور ما أبدى لها الشام إذ بدا
Peace be upon the one whose mother saw from him
A light that illuminated Syria as he emerged.
سلام على من لاح برهان بعثه
فأتهم في أقصى البلاد وأنجدا
Peace be upon the one whose proof of prophethood shone,
Reaching the furthest lands in urgency.
سلام على من رُجّ عند أوانه
لكسرى من الإيوان ما كان شيدا
Peace be upon the one about whom ruins shook
When his time came, at the palace of Chosroes firmly.
سلام على من أُخمدت نار فارس
بنورٍ له نارَ الضلالةِ أخمدَا
Peace be upon the one who extinguished Persian fires
With a light that extinguished the fires of misguidance swiftly.
سلام على بدرِ النبوة ذي السنا
فما كان أسنى في البدور وأسعدا
Peace be upon the full moon of prophethood - Ahmad -
So what felicity has not been for Ahmad?
سلام على شمس الرّسالة أحمدٍ
فأيّ معال لم تُكنّ لأحمدا
Peace be upon the sun of messengers, Muhammad,
What splendor has not belonged to Ahmad?
سلامٌ على من أقسمَ الله باسمه
على شرف العهد الذي كان قُلدا
Peace be upon the one for whom Allah swore by his name
Above the honored Covenant conferred.
سلام على من خُطّ للصدق خاتماً
توسط كتفيه بنورس تجسداً
Peace be upon the one the Seal was prescribed for in truth,
Between whose shoulders the Embroidery took form incarnated.
سلام على من كان إن نام طرفه
يوكِّل بالذكرى فؤاداً مسهّداً
Peace be upon the one whose eyelid, if it closed in sleep,
Would delegate the heart to remember, resting.
سلام على من كان يبصر خلفه
كإبصاره ما نحوه اللَّحظ سددا
Peace be upon the one who saw behind him
As his gaze fore, directly and undeviating.
سلامٌ على من شاهد الغيب ظاهراً
تجلّيه مرآة تجلّ عن الصدى
Peace be upon the one the Unseen was made visible to,
Appearing clearly, not through an illusion distorted.
سلامٌ على المعروف في الكتبِ نعته
ولكن أهل الكفر أخفوه حُسدا
Peace be upon the one whose traits the Books relate,
Though the disbelievers concealed it hatefully.
سلامٌ على المرفوع في الذكر ذكره
لتتلى له الأمداح فيه وتُسردا
Peace be upon the one whose mention is elevated in speech,
So praise of him is recited and rehearsed.
سلامٌ على الموصوف بالخلق الذي
بتعظيمه زِين الثناء ومجدا
Peace be upon the one described with the manners
That adorn praise through his reverence, extolled.
سلامٌ على المُبدى لصفحةِ وجهه
خصالاً إذا اخطا امرؤ أو تعمدا
Peace be upon the one whose qualities were created to
Manifest a page that if one errs or intends wrongly...
سلامٌ على المغضي حياءً وغيرةً
يخال من أغضاءِ المهابةِ ارمدا
Peace be upon the one embarrassed and protective
Lacking the organs of awe are bleary and blinded.
سلامٌ على من كان بالرفق مرفقاً
وبالرفد في كل القضيات مرفدا
Peace be upon the one gentle and bountiful
In all matters, giving and overflowing.
سلامٌ على من كان للخير باسطاً
كما بستطت يمناه للكافر الرَّدى
Peace be upon the one who widely dispensed good
As his right hand dispensed to the corrupt their due.
سلامٌ على من قيد الخلق حبه
ومن وجدَ الإحسان قيداً تقيدا
Peace be upon the one whose love bound creation,
And beneficence bound it, intimately cherished.
سلامٌ على المبعوث للناس رحمةً
لينقذَ من مهوى الردى من تورَّدا
Peace be upon the one sent as mercy to mankind,
To save from the abyss of corruption whoever plummeted.
سلام على من قام بالوحي منذراً
وقام به جنح الدجى متهجّداً
Peace be upon the one who stood delivering warnings,
And stood through the darkness of night vigilant and alert.
سلامٌ على من كلّف العرب سورةً
تشابهه نظماً فكلٌ تبلدا
Peace be upon the one who tasked the Arabs with a Chapter
Matching it in eloquence, though all were inept.
سلامٌ على الآتي من آيات ربه
بما راع من رام اعتداءً ليجحدا
Peace be upon the one who came with his Lord's signs
Confounding those who arrogantly tried to rebut.
سلامٌ على من عوَّد العاد خرَقَها
فكان له من ربه ما تعوَّدا
Peace be upon the one who made habit succumb to his ways,
For he was granted victory by his Lord as he fought.
سلامٌ على من أظهر الله صدقه
وشقّ له البَدر المنير ليشهدا
Peace be upon the one whose truth Allah manifested,
Splitting the shining moon so it would attest.
سلامٌ على من ردت الشمس إذ دعا
وقد كاد سجف الليل يسدل أسودا
Peace be upon the one for whom the sun recoiled
When he supplicated, as the night almost enshrouded.
سلام على من أوجب الله حقه
على كل من فوق البسيطة أوجدا
Peace be upon the one whose right Allah made obligatory
Upon all above the earth or created in it.
سلامٌ على من جاءت الجن خضّعاً
له إذ رأتْ أفق السماء مرصَّدا
Peace be upon the one the jinn came submitting
When the horizon filled with them massed for combat.
سلام على من ظللته بمكة
حمامٌ حكتْ ظلّ الغمامِ الممددا
Peace be upon the one a dove shaded in Mecca -
It narrated the shade of clouds extending.
سلامٌ على من أفهمتْ سرَّ فضله
بهائمُ لم يفهمن من قبلُ مقصّدا
Peace be upon the one whose merit the beasts comprehended,
Untaught before to understand what was intended.
سلام على من قد رجاه لبؤسه
بعيرٌ شكا ممن أجاع واجهدا
Peace be upon the one a camel beseeched in his misery,
Complaining of one who had starved and strained it.
سلامٌ على من أعظم الشاءُ شأنه
فألقى له وجه الخشوعِ وأسجدا
Peace be upon the one the trees welcomed when he called,
Saying: Draw near us with your hand outstretched.
سلامٌ على من أسمعتْ ظبية الفلا
نداءً أنِ اشفع لي لدى من تصيّدا
Peace be upon the one for whom the trunk grieved at parting,
No longer disclosing to any its wood, secluded.
سلامٌ على من قال للضب من أنا
فقال له أنت الرَّسول ووحدا
Peace be upon the one whose words would move
The sublime Pulpit - it would shift in yearning.
سلامٌ على من أفصح الذئبُ ناطقاً
بتصديقهِ فأعجب لذلك وأشهَدا
Peace be upon the one who taught the mountain reflection,
Pacifying it after it quaked in fervor.
سلامٌ على من أكبرَ الليث أمره
فذلَّ لمولاه ودل وارشدا
Peace be upon the one whose staff's light guided
At the dawn of victory, idols at the House demolished.
سلامٌ على من سلَّمت قبل بعثه
عليه الصخورُ الصم إذ راح واغتدى
Peace be upon the one who since his birth was miraculous.
If you wish, trace the miracles back to his delivery.
سلامٌ على من سبَّحتْ وسط كفه
حصى أفصحت بالذكر مثنى وموحدا
Peace be upon the one who had tidings with Halima
Of events that would save the fortunate, decreed early.
سلام على من أمَّن الجُدر إذ دعا
ليُسعفَ في العم الكريم ويسعدا
Peace be upon the one left pure by Umm Ma'bad
From her milk, flowing sweetly while gathered modestly.
سلامٌ على من جاءه الشجر الذي
دعاه يجرّ الغصن أخضرَ أملدا
Peace be upon the one whose saliva was sweet honey
To the gums of his noble cousins, sipped thirstily.
سلامٌ على من حنّ حينَ فراقه
له الجذع لم يسطع لوجدٍ تجلدا
Peace be upon the one from whose fingers would flow
Water as springs flow, dripping generously.
سلامٌ على من حركتْ كلماته
به المنبَرَ الأعلى فماد تأودا
Peace be upon the one whose arrow gushed water,
Matching Moses' staff splitting rock torrentially.
سلامٌ على من علَّم الطود حلمه
وهدأ منه راجفاً بذوي الهدى
Peace be upon the one who fed the whole army
With his bounty - food for the starved provided plentifully.
سلامٌ على من هد لمع قضيبه
ضحى الفتحِ أصناماً لدى البيت وطّدا
Peace be upon the one for whom Jabir had his ruins
Rebuilt and his dates satisfied needed heavily.
سلامً على من كان مذ كان معجزاً
فأرخه للإعجاز أن شئت مولدا
Peace be upon the one whose plantation satisfied
Salman from debt, redeeming him completely.
سلامٌ على من كان عند حليمةٍ
له خبرٌ قد كان لليُمن مفتدى
Peace be upon the one whose light transformed
For Ubay bin Khalaf a reed into sharp steel, wielded lethally.
سلامٌ على المبقي لدى أم معبدٍ
صريحاً من العجفاء قد درَّ مزبدا
Peace be upon the one for Aqasha in battle
A rod became a sword, bared and gleaming, glittering.
سلامٌ على من كان معسول ريقه
لغُلّة سبطية شراباً مبرَّدا
Peace be upon the one whose blessings were
Succor and aid for people from woes and evil.
سلامٌ على من فاض بين بنانه
من الماء ينبوعٌ كما فضنَ بالنَّدى
Peace be upon the one whose supplications
Were wonders that guided one who sought piety.
سلامٌ على من فجَّر الماءَ سهمه
فحاكى عصا موسى يفجِّر جلمدا
Peace be upon the one whose breath gave life,
Restoring vigor - repeatedly rejuvenating.
سلامٌ على من أطعم الجيش كله
بفضله زاد المرملين وزودا
Peace be upon the one who restored a severed hand
From which a friend had despaired, lonely.
سلامٌ على من كان جابر جابرٍ
مآته ما وافاه سوراً ومربدا
Peace be upon the one who returned the eye of Qatada,
Strengthening its vision when he touched it gently.
سلامٌ على من أطعمت بغراسه
فودى لسلمان من العام فافتدى
Peace be upon the one who nominated Ali for the banner
Before eyes that had been bleary.
سلامٌ على من صورت من ضيائه
عصا آبن حضيرٍ في الدُّجنَّة فرقدا
Peace be upon the one informed by the arm
Of poisoned meat that Khaybar harbored stealthily.
سلامٌ على من صيَّر العود في الوغى
لعكَّاشةٍ سيفاً صقيلاً مجردا
Peace be upon the one a coating protected
Repelling and foiling any rebel arrogantly.
سلامٌ على من كان في بركاته
غياثٌ وغوثٌ للنَّدى ومن الردى
Peace be upon the one whose foes were blinded
سلامٌ على من كان في دعواته
لطائف أهدَتْ صنعها لمن اهتدى
As they plotted to murder him treacherously.
Peace be upon the one who tossed dust upon them
سلامٌ على من كان في نفثاته
حياةٌ تعيدُ النشَّى نشأً مجددا
While sparing Ali, asleep and resting peacefully.
Peace be upon the one for whom was a sign
سلام على من قد أعاد لحالها
يداً كان منها تاعصب للعضد مفردا
The cave that sheltered him, keeping him hidden completely.
Peace be upon the one who followed his companion,
سلامٌ على من رد عين قتادةٍ
فزادت ضياءً حين مدّ لها يدا
Being told: “Grieve not” - console and aide loyally.
Peace be upon the one protected from one
سلام على الداعي عليا لراية
على آية كانت لعينيه إثمدا
Who plotted against him, then was halted abruptly.
Peace be upon the one given victory through awe
سلامٌ على من أخبرته بخيبرٍ
ذراعُ سميط أودعتْ سمّ أسودا
And divine aid against those disbelieving corruptly.
Peace be upon the one whose claim truth supported
سلامٌ على من دافعته عنه منعةٌ
تردُّ وتردي كلّ غاوٍ تمردا
As Gabriel descended endorsing him clearly.
Peace be upon the one for whom Allah launched arrows
سلامٌ على من أعشيت أعين العدى
وقد بيتوه قصد الفتك رصدا
When he launched them, blinding the pagans, defeating them speedily.
Peace be upon the first vanguard
سلامٌ على ملقي التراب عليهم
ومبقٍ عليا في الفراش موسَّدا
Whenever the bugle would blare calling the troops promptly.
Peace be upon the one who parried Abu Sufyan
سلامٌ على من كان في الغار آية
لتحصينه صيغّتْ دلاصا مسردا
Ending plots against the Prophet cunningly.
Peace be upon the one whose like is not known
سلام على التالي لصاحبه به
وقد قيل لا تحزن فصِين وأيدا
Among prophets, one who fought vigorously on that raging day.
Peace be upon the one who sacrificed self, seeking
سلامٌ على المعصوم ممن أراده
بكيد وسلْ عن عامر ثم أربدا
The pleasure of Allah - none were more generous.
Peace be upon the one whose face was wounded in battle
سلام على المنصور بالرّعب والّذي
أمدّ بأمداد السماءِ على العدى
As he repeated: My Lord, forgive my people, I plead fervently.
Peace be upon the one who never glanced
سلامٌ على من شد بالحق أزره
وأُرسل جبريل لتصديقه ردا
At the allures of life, detached and ascetic.
Peace be upon the one who always chose the Hereafter,
سلامٌ على من قد رمى الله إذ رمى
فأعشى عيونَ المشركين وارمدا
Calling his companion and migrating swiftly.
Peace be upon the one pure in life and death,
سلام على من كان أولَ مقدم
إذا ما تبلى الناي في الناس عُردا
Noble among the people and before them.
Peace be upon the one singled out for the Basin,
سلام على مردي أبي بطعنة
قضت لنبي في غَبي توعدا
From which the intense heat of hearts will drink thirstily.
Peace be upon the one promised to intercede for us
سلام على من ليس يُعلم مثله
نبي قضى يوم الهياج مهندا
When he stands praised in an abode of praise gloriously.
Peace be upon the one given the Banner of Praise,
سلام على من جاد بالنفس طالباً
رضي به لله ما كان أجودا
Without whom the Banner would not have unfurled loftily.
Peace be upon the one who will lead the destitute,
سلام على من شُجَّ في الحرب وجهه
فكرَّر رب اغفر لقومي ورددا
Racing to the Abode of Shelter, guiding the followers.
Peace be upon the one who will first knock on the door,
سلام على من لم تكن منه نظرةٌ
إلى نضرةِ الدنيا قلى وتزهدا
Called within the Abode of Eternity: “You have prospered!”
Peace be upon the peerless one in merit,
سلامٌ على من كان يختار غيرها
لذلك ما نادى الرفيقَ مرددا
So it is no wonder he is singular in distinction ultimately.
Peace be upon the one whose virtues
سلام على من طاب حياً وميتاً
وكرم غيباً في الأنام ومشهدا
Were like stars adorning his glory and greatness.
Peace be upon the one whose description
سلام على المخصوص بالحوض موردا
يروى به حرَّ الصدور من الصدى
No orator, however eloquent, can recount completely.
Peace be upon the one whose dues no praise
سلامٌ على الموعود فينا شفاعةً
إذا قام محمودَ المقامِ ليُحمدا
Can fulfill, even if the seas were ink pouring boundlessly.
Peace be upon the essence of existence, so after him
سلامٌ على المعطى لوا الحمد ساميا
ولولاه ما كان اللواء ليُعقدا
An essence without meaning is naught but futility.
Peace be upon the one whose loss made
سلامٌ على من يقدم الغُرّ سابقا
إلى جنة المأوى يقود من اقتدى
The face of earth darker and dustier.
Peace be upon the one whose death caused the sky to weep
سلامٌ على من يقرعُ البابُ أولا
فتدعوه دارُ الخلد طبت مخلدا
Was there ever a calamity so momentous and gut-wrenchingly?
Peace be upon the one whose farewell ignited sorrow,
سلامٌ على من كان في الفضل أوحدا
فلا غرو أن يُلفى لدى الفضل أَوحدا
As tears flowed like scattering pearls abundantly.
Peace be upon the one whose soul ached for our state,
سلامٌ على من كالنجوم مناقبٌ
توشح منها مجده وتقلَّدا
While his own soul ascended the heavens tranquilly.
Peace be upon the one who said about his nation:
سلامٌ على من ليس يبلغُ وصفَه
بليغٌ وإن مدَّ البيانُ له يدا
“Give them glad tidings of a joyful meeting assuredly.”
Peace be upon the one who told his companions:
سلامٌ على من ليس يقضِ حقوقه
ثناءُ وإن أفنى البحارَ وأنفدا
“Convey my greetings to my nation repeatedly.”
Peace be upon this Messenger - what repayment
سلامٌ على معنى الوجود فبعده
وجودٌ بلا معنى سوى الوجد أَوجدا
Suffices for a greeting upon him initiating?
Peace be upon this Benevolent One - what hand of ours
سلامٌ على من أوحشَ الأرضَ فقده
فأصبحَ وجه الأرضِ أغبرَ أَربدا
Can equal his station, however high we reach?
Peace be upon this Merciful One - may mercy
سلامٌ على مُبكي السماء بيومه
فما كان أنكاه مصاباً وأنكَدا
Keep him through benevolence, perpetually sung.
Peace be upon a grave that returns our greetings -
سلامٌ على مذكي الأسى بوداعه
غداة أسالَ الدمعَ دُراً مبدَّداً
In it is a body dressed in light embodied.
Peace be upon him, as angels surround him
سلامٌ على من رَقَّ نفساً لحالنا
وأنفاسهُ ترقَى التراقيَ صُعّدا
Extolling with greetings and prayers enveloping.
Peace be upon him, as Allah turns
سلامٌ على من قال في الموت أمتي
فقيل له أبشرْ سيلقونَ أسعدا
To the Chosen One, after him none shall ever be bankrupt.
Peace be upon him - how much honor lies
سلامٌ على من قال للصحبِ بلِّغوا
إلى أمتي منِّي السلام المرددا
In his noblest resting place, sanctified eternally.
Peace be upon him - remembering him renews
سلامٌ على هذا الرسول وما لنا
كِفاءً لتسليمٍ كريمٍ به ابتدا
My passion, never exhausted or depleted.
Peace be upon him - my soul yearns
سلامٌ على هذا الكريمِ فمالنا
يدٌ أن تُوازى من مكانَته يدا
For him, will my longing approach him closely?
Peace be upon him - will I be given visitation
سلامٌ على هذا الرَّحيم ورحمةٌ
تحييه بالإحسانِ مغنَّى ومُنتَدى
To fulfill the right of loyalty, sincerely keeping my vow?
Peace be upon him - my eyes rain with his image,
سلامٌ على قبرٍ يرد سلامنا
به جسدٌ قد أُلبسَ النورَ مجسدا
Washing away sorrow, abundantly sowing.
Peace be upon him - would that my cheeks
سلامٌ عليه والملائكُ حولَه
تحفُّ لتسليمٍ عليه تحفُّدا
Could touch his soil, resting on it tearfully.
Peace be upon him - how can I attain his proximity,
سلامٌ عليه والإلهُ مراجعٌ
عن المصطفى يا صَفقةً لن تكَّسدا
As a prayer niche, in life and death enshrouded?
Peace be upon him - I am in need of his merit,
سلامٌ عليه كم ثوى من كرامة
بملحَده الأسنى فقُدِّس ملحَدا
Hoping for his intercession from him tomorrow.
Peace be upon him - I have no means
سلامٌ عليه إن ذكراهُ جَدَّدت
غرامي وما زالَ الغرامُ المجدَّدا
Except my love for him and devotion utterly.
Peace be upon him - whenever one travels
سلامٌ عليه إن نفسي مشوقةٌ
إليه فهل يدني اشتياقيَ أبعدا
To his honorable precinct, walking with difficulty.
Peace be upon him - whenever a star appears, we think
سلامٌ عليه هل تتاحُ زيارة
توفِّى الوفاء الحق عهداً ومعهدا
It is that brilliant lamp returned, rekindled.
Peace be upon him - whenever a voice declares “Allah”,
سلامٌ عليه من لعيني برسمه
فيسفحُ ما يروي الصفيحُ المنضّدا
We remember the sincerity of his worship and devotion.
Peace be upon him - as prayers follow him
سلامٌ عليه من لوجهي بتربه
فأوطئه خداً بدَمعي مُخَدَّدا
To receive from him reward spread perpetually.
Peace be upon the family of the Prophet and his companions -
سلامٌ عليه كيف لي بجوارِه
مصلىً لدى المحيا وفي الموت غرقدا
A greeting that pleases the Prophet Muhammad.
Peace be upon them - their pure praise
سلام عليه من مرجٍ لفضله
غدا راجياً منه شفاعَته غدا
Is perfume, or more exotic than perfume known truly.
Peace be upon them - loving them all
سلام عليه ليس لي من وسيلة
سوى أنَّ لي حباً له وتوددا
Brings you closeness to beloved Ahmad.
سلام عليه كلما ساق سائقٌ
إلى ربعهِ خوضَ الرِّكابِ وما حدا
سلامٌ عليه ما توقد كوكبٌ
فخلناه من ذاك السراجِ توقدا
سلامٌ عليه ما تشهد باسمه
مناد بتوحيد الإله تشهَّدا
سلامٌ عليه والصلاة تَؤُمُّه
لتلقى جناباً في الجنان مُمهّدا
سلامٌ على آل النبي وصحبه
سلامٌ كما يُرضي النبي محمّدا
سلامٌ عليهم مثلُ طيبِ ثنائِهم
هو المسكُ أو للمسك من عرفه جدا
سلامٌ عليهم إن حُبَّ جميعهم
لتُلفيه في مرضاة أحمد أحمدا
