The boy bent over this tomb

Crying for the one buried, who was the beauty of youth.

A radiant lad, though fate cut him short,

He passed through life as a shooting star's flash.

If knowledge had protected him, his time

Would have come with wondrous proofs of his wisdom.

He passed away, so a treasure of morals

Was folded here, under the soil's dust.
