- من مبلغ الشعراء عن أخويهمWho will inform the poets about their brothers
- وألقيتها في الثني من جنب كافرI cast it aside into the fold by the side of an infidel
- وعليه من لأم الكتائب لأمة
- وقد أتناسى الهم عند احتضاره
- ومستنبح تستكشف الريح ثوبه
- ومن يبغ أو يسعى على الناس ظالماًAnd whoever seeks or aspires to oppress people
- يا آل بكر ألا لله أمكم
- يعيرني أمي رجال لا أرىMy Mother Blames Me for Men I Do Not See
