O harbinger of wishes, a youth's dream
Passed by the river, or a new love?
Or did the prophets pitch their tents on the green bank
Or did a feast begin for the angels?
A festival, the realms of the East wherein
Are invocations, joy, and song,
And a shout on both banks whose echo
The kings of the hunt whisper to one another:
Submit, O princess of the East, and rule
The king of the East, whatever eternity wills,
The day it called you by your sweet name "Freya":
Ah! The auspicious time rejoiced.
May you remain, your days of goodness are youth
And all your nights are felicity.
