1. لَبِسْتُ الْآنَ قُبَّعَةً بَعِيدًا

    عَنِ الْأَوْطَانِ، مُعْتَادَ الشُّجُونِ

    Now I wear a hat away from homelands, accustomed to sorrows

  2. فَإِنْ هِيَ غَيَّرَتْ شَكْلِي فَإِنِّي

    «مَتَى أَضَعِ الْعِمَامَةَ تَعْرِفُونِي»
