أحسودُ قُلْ ما شِئت فيَّ

لكَ البقاءُ من الملامَهْ

I am envied, say what you will of me

You remain blameworthy

فخري كشمسٍ أشرقَتْ

لم تُخفِها أبداً غمامَهْ

My pride is like a sunrise that shone

That clouds could never hide

أحسودُ يا تِربَ السَّفالَةِ

والجهَالةِ والّلآمَهْ

I am envied, O ignoble slanderer

Of ignorance and blames

لِمَ لا يطول على الورى

من كان حيدرةٌ إمامه

Why does he who takes the Imam Haydar

As his imam not live long in the land

من بالكِتاب وعُتُرة المخْتارِ

قد أضحَى اعْتِصَامَهْ

With the Book and the family of the Chosen one

Who has made his adherence

واختارَ دينَ أبي الحُسَين

لِحبّ حَيدرةٍ عَلامَهْ

And chosen the religion of Abu al-Husayn

For the love of the sign of Haydar

مَن بالولاءِ لِحَيدَرٍ

يُنجوُ ويأمنُ في القِيامَهْ

He who pledges allegiance to Haydar

Will be saved and safe on the Day of Judgment

ويَروحُ مسروراً غداً

يوم التّغابنِ والنّدامَهْ

And will go happily tomorrow

The day of losses and regrets

ويحوز في جنّات عَدْنٍ

ما يحبُّ من الكرامَهْ

And will win in the gardens of Eden

Whatever honorable things he loves

وتديرُ ولدانُ الجنانِ

عليه كاسات المدامَهْ

And the youths of heaven will pass around

Goblets of wine

ولَرُبّ كأسٍ فضّ عن

مسكٍ بلا حرجٍ ختامَهْ

For many a cup poured openly

Of pure sealed wine
