1. وتَرى حُمَيساً في مجاريه لَهُ

    ما بينَ مُنعَطِفِ الغُصونِ تَعطُّفُ

    And you see Humeisa in its streams for it

    Between the bend of the branches being gentle

  2. يَنْسابُ في الروضِ انْسِيابَ أَراقمٍ

    أو مثل ما سُلّ الحُسَامُ المرهَفُ

    It flows in the meadow a flow of sandalwood

    Or like what the polished swords drip

  3. نَظَمَ الرَّبيعَ بها بديعَ زهورها

    فموشّعٌ ومُذَبَّجٌ ومُفَوّفُ

    The spring adorned it with the wonderful arrangement of its flowers
