قالوا امْتَدِحْ سيّدَ الكونين قلتُ لهمْ

يجلّ عن كلمي قدراً وأشعاري

They said praise the Master of the two worlds, I said to them

My words and poetry are too little for His greatness

ماذا عَسَاهُ يقولُ المادِحون وقَدْ

أثنَى عليهِ بِما أَثْنَى بهِ الباري

What could those who praise say when

The Creator has already praised Him as He has
