What sword did your eyelids unsheathe for me
What spear did your arms hurl at me
I did not know love until
Your eyes taught me its ways
You weakened me to frailty, so tell me
How can I bear your abandonment
If the radiant sun saw your face
It would say, damn those who love another
Or if the full moon saw your light
It would call out to you, for you deserve that
