فلا رفَع المهيمنُ لي مناراً

ولا نِلْتُ المرامَ من العُلوّ

Neither did the Almighty raise a minaret for me

Nor did I attain what I hoped for in elevation

ومَهما قلتُ فيه فلا أبالي

لأنّي قد أمنتُ مِن الغُلُوِّ

And whatever I say about it matters not to me

For I am now safe from going too far
