أيّها المقتر شُحّاً لاَ تَخَفْ
عيْلةً فالله حيٌّ يرزقُ
O you who are stingy, do not fear poverty
God is alive and provides sustenance
مُحكمُ التنزيلِ قد قَالَ لنا
لن تَنَالوا البرَّ حتّى تُنفِقوا
The Sender of the Scripture has told us
You will not attain righteousness until you spend
