دِمنَاً بأكناف العقيق خوالي
حييتِ من دِمَنٍ ومن أطلالِ
With the valleys of al-‘Uqayq as neighbors
You have revived me from a ruin and relics
وسَقَتْ سماءُ الشوقِ رَبعكَ دائماً
بسحائبٍ من مُقلتيِّ ثقالِ
The sky of longing has constantly watered your abode
With heavy clouds from my eyelids
لِلّه كم أرخصْتُ فيكِ مدامعاً
قد كنّ من قبل الفِراق غوالي
Oh God, how many tears did I shed for your sake
That were before the separation, my treasures
