    قصرتْ خطاهمْ عَن خُطاه وَفَاتا

    Who the heroes marched with to the farthest horizons

    Yet their strides fell short of matching his own

  3. مَنْ لا يدانيهِ عُلىً ونَبَاهَةً

    مَنْ ظَلّ في كَسْب الفخارِ وبَاتا

    He whom none can equal in nobility and virtue

    Who spent his nights acquiring pride and glory

  4. مَن شَرّفَتْ وَهُمُ الكرامُ صِفاتُه

    مِنْ أَهْلِه الأحياءَ والأمْواتا

    Whose qualities brought honor to the generous souls

    Among both his living and departed people
