    O vicious killer, stop

Each day you plot against the crown

I see the crown in the wilderness as

A revolving sphere, taking and giving

It goes beyond heads, from head to head

Walking through ages, from era to era

It's impossible for a man to demolish a structure

That has exhausted ages with its might to demolish

It's futile you kill kings, and you're

Excused regarding them, had you held a grudge

The flaw of the mind is to see praise as blame

And see the despicable sin as praise

He who knows death does not care about death

And who does not see an alternative to death

Except that lifespans have limits in us

You see every living being seeking a limit

What eyelid did you make shed tears

That without you would have been remote

What fear did you place in a heart

That was brave in the midst of calamities

Alphonse did not cry out of fear but of passion

And the tears of passion are the noblest purpose

Indeed, the coward's heart trembles with fright

Unlike the lover's heart that trembles with fervor

There was a handspan between life and death

Bad luck was changed in its streams to good luck

We saw the killed inhabit a palace

And the killed one's enemy inhabit a grave

You decide and Allah decides justly

In the wilds, and Allah is greater in support

An ember whose flames fate has extinguished

So its embers have become safety and coolness

Indeed the Generous King has hearts

That stood between you and Him as a barrier

So they ransomed Him, be the best ransom

For the King, and He was the excellent Ransomed
