إِنَّ اِبنَ يَحيى عَبيدَ اللَهِ أَمَّنَني

مِنَ الحَوادِثَ بَعدَ الخَوفِ مِن زَمَني

Son of Yahya, servant of God, brought me

Safety from misfortunes and fear in my time

فَلَستُ أَحذَرُ حُسّادي وَإِن كَثَروا

ما دُمتُ مُمسِكَ حَبلِ مِن أَبي الحَسَنِ

So with the cord of my father al-Hasan in hand

I shall not dread my enviers though they be many
