جاءَ المَسِيحُ مِنَ الإلهِ رَسُولا
فأبَى أَقَلُّ العالَمِينَ عُقُولا
Christ came from God a messenger
But the feeblest minds refused
قَوْمٌ رَأَوْا بَشَرَاً كريماً فادَّعَوْا
مِنْ جَهْلِهِمْ للَّهِ فيهِ حُلولا
A people who saw a generous man and claimed
Out of their ignorance that God dwelt in him
وَعِصَابَةٌ ما صَدَّقَتهُ وَأَكثَرَت
بالإِفكِ والبُهْتانِ فيهِ القِيلا
And a party who did not believe him and spread
Lies and slander about him
لَمْ يَأْتِ فيهِ مُفْرِطٌ ومُفَرِّطٌ
بالحَقِّ تَجرِيحاً وَلا تَعدِيلا
Neither an extremist nor a derelict came regarding him
Wounding or healing with the truth
فكَأَنَّما جاءَ المَسِيحُ إليهمُ
لِيُكَذِّبُوا التَّوْراةَ والإِنْجِيلا
So it was as if Christ had come to them
Only to deny the Torah and the Gospel
فاعجَب لِأُمَّتِهِ الّتي قد صَيَّرَتْ
تَنْزِيهَها لإِلهِها التَّنْكِيلا
How I lament for his nation which
Made its vindication of its God a condemnation
وإِذا أرادَ اللَّهُ فِتْنَةَ مَعْشَرٍ
وَأَضَلَّهُمْ رَأَوُا القَبِيحَ جَمِيلا
Whenever God wants to tempt a people
And lead them astray, they see the ugly as beautiful
هُمْ بَجَّلوهُ بِباطِلٍ فابْتَزَّهُ
أَعْداؤُهُ بالباطِلِ التَّبجِيلا
They extolled him falsely so his enemies
Extolled him falsely with false exaltation
وتَقَطَّعُوا أَمْرَ العَقائِدِ بينهم
زُمَراً ألَم تَرَ عِقدَها مَحْلُولا
And they differed regarding doctrines of belief
Into groups - did you not see their knot dissolved?
هَوَ آدَمٌ فِي الفَضْلِ إِلَّا أنّهُ
لَمْ يُعْطَ حالَ النَّفْخَةِ التَّكْمِيلا
He is Adam in virtue except that
He was not given the breath to perfect him
أسَمِعْتُمُ أنَّ الإِلهَ لحَاجَةٍ
يَتَنَاوَلُ المَشْرُوبَ وَالمَأْكُولا
Have you heard that for his needs
God eats food and drink
ويَنَامُ مِنْ تَعَبٍ وَيَدْعُو رَبَّهُ
ويَرُومُ مِنْ حَرِّ الهَجِيرِ مَقِيلا
And sleeps from tiredness and prays to his Lord
And takes refuge from the heat of noon
ويَمَسُّهُ الألَمُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَسْتَطِع
صَرْفَاً لَهُ عنهُ ولا تَحْوِيلا
And pain afflicts him which he is not
Able to avert from himself or transform
يا ليتَ شِعْرِي حِينَ ماتَ بِزَعْمِهِم
من كانَ بالتَّدْبِيرِ عنه كَفِيلا
I wonder when he died according to their claims
Who was responsible for managing affairs after him
هَلْ كانَ هذا الكَوْنُ دَبَّرَ نَفْسَهُ
مِنْ بَعْدِهِ أَمْ آثَرَ التَّعْطِيلا
Did this universe manage itself
After him or did it prefer to halt?
اجْزُوا اليَهُودَ بِصَلْبِهِ خَيْراً ولا
تُخْزُوا يَهُوذَا الآخِذَ البِرْطِيلا
How I cry over you and you do not disdain
To hear my crying and my humiliation
زَعَمُوا الإلهَ فَدَى العَبيدَ بِنَفْسهِ
وأراهُ كانُ القاتِلَ المَقْتُولا
The Christians have gone astray regarding Christ and sworn
They will never be guided to the path of guidance
أيَكونُ قَوْمٌ في الجَحِيمِ ويَصْطَفِي
منهم كَلِيماً رَبُّنا وخَلِيلا
They made the three one - and if they were guided
They would not make the many few
وإذا فَرَضْتُمْ أنَّ عيسى ربّكُمْ
أفَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِفِدَائِكُمْ مَبْذُولا
They worship a god of a god existing
With an image - they went astray with it wandering blindly
وأُجِلُّ رُوحاً قامَتِ المَوْتَى بهِ
عَنْ أَنْ يُرَى بِيَدِ اليَهودِ قَتِيلا
The Christians and Jews have gone astray so do not be
Misguided by them in the ways of guidance
فَدَعُوا حديثَ الصَّلْبِ عَنْهُ ودُونكُمْ
مِن كُتبِكُم ما وافَقَ التَّنْزِيلا
The called Trinity are a people who allowed
What contradicts transmitted and reasoned texts
شَهِدَ الزَّبُورُ بِحِفْظِهِ ونَجاتِهِ
أَفَتَجْعَلُونَ دَلِيلَهُ مَدْخُولا
The calf worshippers were tempted by it
And loved taking prophets as calves
أَيَكُونُ مَنْ حَفِظَ الإلهُ مُضَيَّعاً
أَوْ مَنْ أُشِيدَ بِنَصْرِهِ مَخْذُولا
So when good tidings came to them they denied
With their whims and were killed slaughtered
أَيَجُوزُ قَوْلُ مَنَزِّهٍ لإِلههِ
سبحانَ قاتِلِ نَفْسِهِ فأَقُولا
They left out rulings of the Book of God
As an enemy though it was inhabited and populated
أَو جَلَّ مَنْ جَعَلَ اليَهُودُ بِزَعمِكُمْ
شَوْكَ القَتادِ لِرَأْسِهِ إكلِيلا
They made forbidden in it halal and guidance
Lost, and connected piety severed
ومَضَى بِحَمْلِ صَلِيبِهِ مُستَسلِماً
لِلموتِ مَكتُوفَ اليَدَينِ ذَلِيلا
And what they wasted of its grace
Made them fill it with excessive talk
كَم ذا أُبَكِّتُكُم وَلَمْ تَستَنكِفُوا
أنْ تَسْمَعُوا التَّبْكِيتَ والتَّخجِيلا
They concealed worship and the hereafter and did not heed
Hastening or postponing the truth
ضَلَّ النَّصارَى في المَسِيحِ وَأَقْسَمُوا
لا يَهْتَدُونَ إلَى الرَّشادِ سَبِيلا
How strange they are - the Sabbath being sold among them
The buyers did not find rest from it
جَعَلُوا الثَّلاثَةَ واحِداً وَلوِ اهتَدَوا
لَمْ يَجْعَلوا العَدَدَ الكَثيرَ قليلا
Why did they not disobey Joshua regarding it when
He called armies for war and horses?
عَبَدُوا إلهاً مِنْ إلهٍ كائِناً
ذَا صُورَةٍ ضَلّوا بها وهَيُولَى
Or oppose Aaron regarding slaughter and
Kneading using it - no refusal was shown to him
ضَلَّ النَّصارَى واليَهُودُ فلا تَكُنْ
بِهِم عَلَى سُبُلِ الهُدَى مَدلُولا
Or compare the Messiah to them and allow
No prohibition in either case or permission
والمُدَّعُو التَّثلِيث قَوْمٌ سَوَّغُوا
ما خالف المنقولَ والمَعْقُولا
Or establish abrogation which is in their books
Specifically stated by Isaiah and Joel
والعابِدُونَ العِجْلَ قد فُتِنُوا به
ودُّوا اتِّخاذَ المُرْسَلِينَ عُجُولا
Or did they not see the ruling of the Torah abrogating
The rulings of the books of the earlier prophets?
فإذا أتَتْ بُشْرَى إليهِم كَذَّبُوا
بِهَوَى النُّفُوسِ وقُتِّلُوا تَقْتِيلا
Will the disbelievers disdain to adopt
A saying about the best of creation patched together?
وَكَفَى اليهودَ بأنهم قد مَثَّلُوا
مَعْبُودَهمْ بِعِبادِهِ تَمثيلا
No harm will come to them from their drivel for my tears
Will water the soil from my eyes mixed with tears
وبأَنَّ إسرائيلَ صارعَ رَبَّهُ
ورَمَى به شُكْراً لإِسْرائيلا
It is as if I found the mourning place of a bereaved woman,
Sorrowful and pained, crying and wailing
وبأنَّهم رحَلُوا به في قُبَّةٍ
إذْ أَزْمَعُوا نَحْوَ الشآمِ رَحِيلا
They presumed falsehoods about their Lord and his messengers
And attributed immorality to innocent women and men
وبِأنَّهمْ سَمِعُوا كلامَ إلهِهِمْ
وسَبِيلُهُم أنْ يَسْمَعُوا المَنْقُولا
If they diminish his rightful share by a false measure
I will expand their recompense in full measure
وبِأنَّهمْ ضَرَبُوا لِيَسْمَعَ ربُّهُمْ
في الحَربِ بُوقاتٍ لَهُ وَطُبُولا
It is foolishness to repay their lies
With my truthfulness - we do not waver in speech
وبأَنَّ رَبَّ العالَمِينَ بَدا لَهُ
في خَلْقِ آدَمَ يَا لَهُ تَجْهِيلا
If they were truthful prophets would not have come to them
Do you see a doctor suddenly visiting a healthy person?
وبَدا لَهُ في قَوْمِ نوح وانثَنَى
أسَفاً يَعُضُّ بَنَانَهُ مَذْهُولا
If they deny the merit of the Prophet then they have
Cast darkness upon the light of day with blindness
وبِأَنَّ إبراهيمَ حاولَ أَكْلَهُ
خُبْزَاً وَرامَ لِرِجلِهِ تَغْسِيلا
God is Greatest - truly the religion of Muhammad
And his Book are strongest and straightest in speech
وبأَنَّ أموالَ الطَّوائِفِ حُلِّلَتْ
لهُمُ رباً وخيانَةً وَغُلولا
Through it rose the sun of guidance for mankind
And it refused the description of perfection to set
وبِأنَّهم لَم يَخْرُجُوا مِنْ أَرضِهِم
فكأنّهم حسِبُوا الخُروجَ دُخُولا
The truth is dazzling clearly in his law
Which combined branches for mankind and foundations
وحَدِيثُهُم في الأَنبِياءِ فلا تَسَل
عنه وخَلِّ غِطاءهُ مَسْدُولا
Do not mention past scriptures near it
The dawn has risen - extinguish the lamp
لَم يَنتَهُوا عَن قَذفِ دَاوُودَ وَلا
لوطٍ فكيفَ بِقذْفِهِمْ رُوبِيلا
Its features have worn out - inquire of it
Signs that have vanished and disappeared
وَعَزَوْا إلَى يَعقُوبَ مِن أَولادِهِ
ذِكْراً مِنَ الفِعْلِ القَبِيحِ مَهولا
The Torah informs you that it gave good tidings
Earlier regarding Ahmad or Ishmael?
وَإلى المَسِيحِ وَأُمِّهِ وَكَفَى بها
صِدِّيقَةً حَمَلَتْ به وَبَتُولا
It called him ravenous beast - every enemy
And over them all are his great hands
وَلِمَنْ تَعَلَّقَ بالصَّلِيبِ بِزَعمِهِم
لَعْناً يَعُودُ عليهمُ مكفولا
Find the authentic from the base for as long as
The beloved one's passion has desired towers
وَجَنَوْا عَلَى هارونَ بالعِجْلِ الّذي
نَسَبُوا لَهُ تَصْوِيرَهُ تَضْلِيلا
Who is like Moses established for his people
Among their brothers besides him as messenger?
وَبأنَّ موسى صَوَّرَ الصُّوَرَ التي
ما حَلَّ منها نَهْيُهُ مَعْقُولا
Or that their brothers were the sons of Esau whom
The taking of his birthright was for Israel?
ورَضُوا لهُ غَضَبَ الإِلهِ فلا عَدا
غَضَبُ الإلهِ عَدُوَّهُ الضِّلِّيلا
By God, the one meant was no young man
Moses, or Jesus, or Samuel
وبأنَّ سِحْراً ما اسْتطاعَ لآيَةٍ
منه وَلا اسطاعَتْ لهُ تَبْطِيلا
For no prophet will rise for them like him
From among them - even if the prophet resembled
وبأنَّ ما أبْدَى لهُمْ مِنْ آيَةٍ
أبْدَوا إلَيهِ مْلَها تَخييلا
Blessed is Moses when he gave good tidings by his name
And a listener regarding his merit mentioned
إِلَّا البَعُوضَ ولا يَزالُ مُعانِداً
لإِلهِهِ بِبَعُوضَةٍ مَخْذُولا
The mountains of Paran - those firm peaks
Gained over the world through him preference
ورَضُوا لِمُوسى أنْ يقولَ فواحِشاً
خَتَمَتْ وَصِيَّتُهُ لهنَّ فصُولا
Inquire of the Gospel regarding him and beware
Of corrupting its wording or substitution
نَقَلوا فَواحِشَ عَن كليمِ اللَّهِ لَم
يَكُ مِثلُها عَنْ مِثلِهِ مَنُقُولا
If the Gospel leaves him as Paraclete
It surely called him so before that as Elijah
وأَظُنُّهُمْ قد خالفوه فعجَّلتْ
لهُمُ العُقوبة بالخنا تعْجِيلا
The spirit of truth by revelation called him
Which is recited to him morning and evening
وَشَكَتْ رِجالُهُمُ مَصادِرَ ذَيْلِها
ونِساؤُهُمْ غيرَ البُعُولِ بُعولا
I show him not by speaking except when
I elevate my saying to God if I depart from you
لُعِنَ الَّذينَ رَأوْا سَبِيلَ مُحَمَّدٍ
وَالمُؤْمِنِينَ بِهِ أضَلَّ سَبِيلا
It will be better for you that the one you accept
Should come to you in my place as replacement
أَبْناءُ حَيَّاتٍ ألَم تَرَ أنّهم
يَجِدُونَ دِريَاقَ السُّمومِ قَتولا
One blessed in the name of God will come from him
Whose promise of advent was not prolonged
مُذْ فارَقوا العِجْلَ الّذي فُتِنُوا به
وَدُّوا اتِّخاذَ الأنبياءِ عُجُولا
Reciting the clear revelation - his Book
And refuting my examples through interpretation
فإِذا أتَى بَشَرٌ إليهم كَذَّبُوا
بِهَوَى النُّفُوسِ وقُتِّلُوا تَقْتِيلا
Refuting scholars blaming them
And their sin to shame them was enough
أَخلَوا كِتابَ اللَّهِ مِن أَحكَامِهِ
عَدواً وَكانَ العامِرَ المَأهُولا
And he will unjustly seize God's kingdom from you
To make it permitted for the people of piety and share it
جَعلوا الحَرامَ بهِ حَلالاً وَالهُدَى
غَيّاً وَمَوْصولَ التُّقَى مَفْصُولا
Just as I testified to him so he will testify to me when
The Knower of what I came with becomes unknown
وَدَعَاهُم ما ضَيَّعُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ
أنْ يَمْلَؤُوهُ مِنَ الكلامِ فُضُولا
His speech will occur signs and the unseen -
He will establish you age after age with truth
كَتَمُوا العِبَادَةَ والمعادَ وَما رَعَوْا
لِلحَقِّ تَعجِيلاً وَلا تَأجِيلا
He is an unshaken boulder that if forces
Rushed they were shattered - so do not desire for it except meteors
عَجَباً لَهُم وَالسَّبتُ بَيعٌ عِندَهُم
لَم يَلقَ منهُ المُشتَرُون مَقِيلا
The latter people are the first so his people
Took much reward for little deed
هَلَّا عَصَوا في السَّبتِ يُوشَعَ إذ غَدا
يَدْعُو جُنُوداً للوَغَى وخُيُولا
O you of bounty do not doubt that when he comes
His coming is not unknown
أَو خالَفُوا هارُونَ في ذبحٍ وَفي
عَجْنٍ به لَمْ يُبْدِ عنهُ نُكُولا
He is entrusted last with bounty - the Owner
Does not choose over it a representative
أو أَلْحَقُوا بهما المَسِيحَ وَسَوَّغُوا ال
تَحْرِيمَ في الحالَيْنِ والتَّحْلِيلا
It is he who after John came to them
When John was to the Messiah a messenger
أو أثبَتُوا النَّسخَ الَّذي في كُتبِهم
قد نُصَّ عنْ شَعْيا وعَنْ يُوئِيلا
Inquire of the Psalms for in it now
From the detail of discourse are commands and chapters
أوَ لَمْ يَرَوْا حُكْمَ العَتِيقَةْ ناسِخاً
أحكامَ كُتْبِ المُرْسَلِينَ الأُولى
It is he who the Psalms described wearing
A double edged sword of polished swords
أفَيَأنَفُ الكُفَّارُ أنْ يَستَدرِكُوا
قَوْلاً عَلَى خيرِ الوَرَى مَنحُولا
His religious law was paired with his awe
So I see the seizing of the disbelievers wandering
لا دَرَّ دَرُّهُمُ فإنَّ كلامَهم
يذَرُ الثَّرَى مِنْ أَدْمُعِي مَبْلولا
Overflowing from his two lips is his Lord's mercy
So seek healing from those two lips O sick one
فكأنَّني ألفَيْتُ مُقْلَةَ فاقِدٍ
ثَكْلَى ومُوجَعَةٍ تُصِيبُ عَوِيلا
To a dominant one from his praise and beauty
The enemies are filled with disgrace and subjugation
ظَنُّوا بربِّهِمُ الظُّنُونَ ورُسْلِهِ
وَرَمَوْا إناثاً بالأَذَى وَفُحُولا
Among a nation particularized with all prestige
And relaxing in the shade of righteousness shaded
إن يَبخسُوهُ بِكَيْلِ زُورٍ حَقَّهُ
فَلأُوسِعَنَّهُمُ الجزاءَ مَكِيلا
Upon their resting places and every slope
All happily praising and proclaiming: Hallelujah!
وَمِنَ الغَبِينَةِ أنْ يُجازي إفْكَهُم
صِدْقِي ولَسْنا في الكَلامِ شُكُولا
They are ascetics by night, lions of war - they did not
Enter passes except Cana in war's hardship
لَو يَصْدُقُونَ لَمَا أتَت رُسُلٌ لهُمْ
أتَرَى الطَّبِيبَ غَدَا يَزورُ عَلِيلا
How many a noble king they captured fettered
And the near relative of chieftans bound
إنْ أنكَرُوا فضلَ النبيِّ فإنّما
أرخَوا عَلَى ضَوءِ النَّهارِ سُدُولا
For God takes vengeance through them from all
Who commit aggression upon the clear truth rebels
اللَّه أَكبَرُ إنَّ دِينَ مُحَمَّدٍ
وكتَابَهُ أَقْوَى وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلا
Do you wonder at a king you saw fettered
And a noble people's princeling bound?
طَلَعَت بهِ شمسُ الهِدَايَةِ لِلوَرَى
وَأبى لَها وصْفُ الكمالِ أُفُولا
The kings of earth submitted obedient to him
And by him their sacrifice was accepted
والحَقُّ أَبْلَجُ في شريعَتِهِ الّتي
جَمَعَتْ فروعاً لِلْوَرَى وأُصُولا
He never ceased to support the oppressed
And aid the destitute and provide for wastrels
لا تَذْكُروا الكتبَ السَّوالِفَ عندَهُ
طَلَعَ النَّهارُ فأَطْفِئُوا القِنْدِيلا
No people of poverty or dire need appealed to him
Except receiving through his bounty the hopeful
دَرَسَت معالِمُها ألا فاستَخبِرُوا
منها رُسوماً قد عَفَتْ وطُلُولا
The one whom no destitute left
Except finding the times compliant to him
تُخبِركُمُ التَّوراةُ أنْ قد بَشَّرَتْ
قِدْماً بأَحْمَدَ أَمْ بإسْماعِيلا
Prayer upon him remains continuous - so take
The description of the Prophet from Psalms stated
وَدَعَتهُ وَحشَ النَّاسِ كلُّ نَدِيَّةٍ
وَعَلَى الجَمِيعِ لَهُ الأَيادِي الطُّولَى
The book of Isaiah informs of his Lord
So listen - it will gladden your troubled heart:
تَجِدُوا الصحيحَ مِنَ السَّقِيمِ فطالما
صَدَقَ الحَبِيبُ هَوَى المحِبِّ نُحولا
“My servant in whom my soul delights and my
Revelation to him is sent as revelation
مَنْ مِثْلُ موسَى قد أُقِيمَ لأَهْلِهِ
مِنْ بَيْنَ إخْوَتِهِمْ سِواهُ رَسولا
I have not given what I gave him to any
Of abundant grace - his credential is authorization
أَو أنَّ إخْوَتَهمْ بنو العِيصِ الّذي
نُقِلَتْ بَكارَتُهُ لإِسْرائيلا
He comes to manifest my justice in the world and he does not
Incline in his ruling to personal desire
تَاللَّهِ ما كانَ المُرادُ به فَتَى
موسَى ولا عِيسَى وَلا شَمْوِيلا
If he is lacking in sight or hearing still
He lacks no piety or merit in the slightest
إذْ لَنْ يَقُومَ لَهُمْ نَبِيٌّ مِثْلُهُ
منهم ولو كانَ النَّبِيُّ مَثيلا
He opened the blind eyes but the enemies
Turned away their eyes refusing to see his merit
طوبى لِمُوسى حينَ بَشَّرَ باسمِهِ
ولِسامِعٍ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ما قيلا
He revived the deaf hearts - he made hear every
Deafness and cured illnesses imposed
وَجِبالُ فارانَ الرَّواسِي إنّها
نالت عَلَى الدُّنيا به التَّفضيلا
He advises nations like a righteous father advises
A newborn son - since the world did not tease him with years
واستَخبِرُوا الإِنْجِيلَ عنه وحاذِرُوا
مِنْ لَفْظِهِ التَّحْرِيفَ والتَّبْدِيلا
And he was not given what it counts for interpretation
Besides Ahmad who came praising his Lord
إنْ يَدْعُهُ الإِنْجِيلُ فارِقْلِيطَهُ
فلَقَدْ دَعاهُ قبلَ ذلكَ إيلا
With new praise guaranteeing increase?
His Book whose light does not expire
ودَعاهُ رُوحَ الحَقِّ لِلوَحيِ الّذي
يُتْلَى عَليه بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلا
The truth surrendering meekly to it
Arguing people by God's argument
وأراهُ لا بِتَكلُّمٍ إِلَّا إذا
أرفَعتُ عنكم للإِلهِ مَقُولا
By which the world's excuse was invalidated
The deepest wilds and who live there rejoiced regarding him
إنْ أنْطَلقْ عنكم يَكُنْ خيرٌ لكم
لِيَجِيئَكُمْ مَنْ تَرْتَضُوهُ بَدِيلا
And defects were covered smooth as plains
So it blossomed receiving Lebanon's beauty which
يَأتِي على اسْمِ اللَّهِ منه مُبارَكٌ
ما كانَ مَوْعِدُ بَعْثِهِ مَمْطُولا
If not for Ahmad's prestige would have no towering peaks gained
The dwellings of Qedar's family were filled with might through him
يَتْلُو كِتَابَ البَيِّنَاتِ كِتابُهُ
ويَرُدُّ أَمْثالِي به التَّأوِيلا
And dwelling there was pleasant, and who lodged was lodged in pleasantness
They attributed the prestige to God so treat them prestigiously
وَيُفَنِّدُ العُلَماءَ تَوْبِيخاً لَهُم
وكَفَاهُمُ بِخَطِيئَةٍ تَخْجِيلا
For God rewards fine deed with fine deed
To his inviolable sacred house the route
ويُزِيحُ مُلْكَ اللَّهِ منكم عَنوَةً
لِيُبيحَهُ أهلَ التُّقَى ويُنيلا
Followed by generations of the saved
No pollution rises there nor seen
وكما شَهِدْتُ لهُ سَيَشهَدُ لِي إذا
صار العليمُ بما أتَيْتُ جَهُولا
A trace of footsteps there transported
Its shoulder between them a symbol of his kingdom
يُبْدِي الحوادِثَ والغُيُوبَ حَدِيثُهُ
وَيسوسُكُمْ بالحَقِّ جِيلاً جِيلا
To God belongs an endless kingdom
Whoever was of God's party was never
هُوَ صَخْرَةٌ ما زُوحِمَتْ صَدَمَتْ فلا
تَبْغُوا لها إلَّا النُّجُومَ وُعُولا
Deprived of his fine care enveloped
He is the rider of the camel on which fell
والآخِرونَ الأَوَّلونَ فَقَوْمُهُ
أَخَذُوا عَلَى العَمَلِ القَلِيلِ جَزِيلا
Babylon's idols that came to you as evidence

والمُنْحَمنَّا لا تَشْكُّوا إنْ أتَى
لَكُمُ فليسَ مَجِيئُهُ مَجْهُولا

وَسَلُوا الزَّبورَ فإنَّ فيه الآن مِن
فصْلِ الخطابِ أوامِراً وفصولا
By delusions hand - its fruits were humiliated gathered

فهوَ الَّذي نَعَتَ الزَّبورُ مُقَلَّداً
ذا شَفْرَتَيْنِ مِنَ السُّيوفِ صَقِيلا
Qedar - disclosing the effect after the cause:
قُرِنَت بِهَيبَتِهِ شَريعَةُ دِينِهِ
فَأَراكَ أَخْذَ الكافِرِينَ وبِيلا
فاضَت عَلَى شَفَتَيْهِ رَحْمَةُ رَبِّهِ
فاستَشْفِ مِنْ تِلْكَ الشِّفاه عَلِيلا
وَلِغالِبٍ مِنْ حَمْدِهِ وَبَهَائِهِ
مَلأَ الأَعادِي ذِلَّةً وخُمولا
فِي أُمَّةٍ خُصَّتْ بِكلِّ كَرَامَةٍ
وتَفَيَّأَتْ ظِلَّ الصَّلاحِ ظَلِيلا
وَعَلَى مَضاجِعهِم وكلِّ ثَنِيَّةٍ
كلٌّ يُسِرُّ وَيُعلِنُ التَّهْلِيلا
رُهْبانُ لَيْلٍ أُسْدُ حَرْبٍ لم تَلِج
إِلَّا القَنا يَوْمَ الكَرِيهَةِ غِيلا
كم غادَروا الملك الجليلَ مُقَيَّداً
والقَرْمَ مِنْ أشْرَافِهِمْ مَغْلُولا
فاللَّهُ مُنتَقِمٌ بِهِم مِن كُلِّ مَنْ
يَبْغِي عَلَى الحَقِّ المُبينِ عُدُولا
أَعَجِبْتَ مِنْ مَلكٍ رَأَيْتَ مُقَيَّداً
وَشرِيفِ قَوْمٍ عِنْدَهمْ مَغْلولا
خَضَعَتْ مُلوكُ الأرضِ طائِعَةً لَهُ
وغَدا به قرْبانُهُمْ مَقْبُولا
ما زَالَ لِلمُستَضعَفِينَ مُؤَازِراً
وَأُلي الصَّلاحِ وَلِلعُفاةِ بَذُولا
لمْ يَدْعُهُ ذُو فاقَةٍ وضَرُورَةٍ
إِلَّا ونالَ بِجُودِهِ المَأْمُولا
ذاكَ الَّذِي لم يَدعُهُ ذُو فاقَةٍ
إِلَّا وكانَ لهُ الزَّمانُ مُنِيلا
تَبْقَى الصَّلاةُ عليهِ دائمَةً فَخُذ
وَصْفَ النبيِّ مِنَ الزُّبُورِ مَقُولا
وَكِتابُ شَعْيا مُخْبِرٌ عَنْ رَبِّهِ
فاسْمَعْهُ يُفْرِحُ قَلْبَكَ المَتْبُولا
عَبْدِي الَّذي سُرَّتْ به نَفسِي وَمَن
وَحْيِي عليه مُنزَّلٌ تَنزِيلا
لَمْ أُعْطِ ما أَعْطَيْتُهُ أَحَداً مِنَ ال
فَضْلِ العظيمِ وحَسْبُهُ تَخْوِيلا
يَأتِي فَيُظهِرُ في الوَرَى عَدْلِي وَلم
يَكُ بالهَوَى في حُكْمِهِ لِيَمِيلا
إنْ غَضَّ مِنْ بَصَرٍ وَمِنْ صَوْتٍ فما
غَضَّ التُّقَى والفَضلُ مِنهُ كلِيلا
فَتَحَ العُيُونَ العُورَ لكنَّ العِدا
عَنْ فضلِهِ صَرَفُوا العُيُونَ الحُولا
أَحيا القلوبَ الغُلفَ أَسمَعَ كلَّ ذِي
صَمَمٍ وَكَمْ داءٍ أزالَ دَخِيلا
يُوصِي إلى الأُمَمِ الوصايا مِثْلَمَا
يُوصِي الأَبُ البَرُّ الرَّحِيمُ سَلِيلا
لا تُضْحِكُ الدُّنيا لهُ سِنّاً وَما
لَمْ يُؤْتَ منها عَدَّهُ تَنوِيلا
منْ غيرُ أحمدَ جاءَ يَحْمَدُ رَبَّهُ
حَمْداً جَدِيداً بالمزِيدِ كَفِيلا
وَكِتابُهُ ما ليسَ يُطْفَأُ نُورُهُ
والحَقُّ مُنْقَادٌ إليه ذَلولا
خَصَمَ العِبادَ بِحُجَّةِ اللَّهِ الَّتي
أمْسَى بها عُذْرُ الوَرَى مَتْبُولا
فَرِحَتْ بهِ البَرِّيَّةُ القُصْوَى وَمَنْ
فيها وفاضَلَتِ الوُعُورُ سُهولا
فَزَهَت وَنالَت حُسنَ لُبنانَ الَّذي
لَولا كَرامَةُ أَحمَدٍ ما نِيلا
مُلِئت مَساكِنُ آلِ قَيْدارٍ به
عِزّاً وطابَتْ مَنْزِلاً ونَزِيلا
جَعَلُوا الكَرامَةَ لِلإِلهِ فَأُكرِمُوا
فاللَّه يَجْزِي بالجَمِيلِ جَمِيلا
وَلِبَيتِهِ الحَرَمِ الحرامِ طَرِيقُهُ
يَتْلُو رَعِيلَ المخلِصِينَ رَعِيلا
لا تَخطُرُ الأَرجاسُ فيهِ وَلا يُرَى
لِخُطاهُمُ في أَرْضِهِ تَنقِيلا
كَتِفاهُ بينهما علامَةُ مُلكِهِ
للَّهِ مُلكٌ لا يَزالُ أثيلا
مَن كانَ مِن حِزبِ الإلهِ فَلَم يَزَل
منه بِحُسْنِ عِنايَةٍ مَشْمُولا
هُوَ راكِبُ الجَمَل الَّذي سَقَطَتْ بهِ
أصْنامُ بابِلَ قد أتاكَ دَلِيلا
وَالغَرْسُ في البَدْوِ المُشار لِفَضْلِهِ
إنْ كُنْتَ تَجْهلُهُ فَسَلْ حِزْقِيلا
غُرِسَتْ بأَرْضِ البَدْوِ منه دَوْحَةٌ
لَمْ تَخْشَ مِنْ عَطَشِ الفَلاةِ ذُبُولا
فَأَتَتْكَ فاضِلَةَ الغُصُونِ وأَخرَجَت
ناراً لِمَا غَرَسَ اليَهُودُ أَكُولا
ذَهَبَتْ بِكَرْمَةِ قَوْمِ سَوءٍ ذُلِّلَتْ
بِيَدِ الغُرورِ قُطُوفُها تَذلِيلا
وَسَلو المَلائِكَةَ التي قد أَيَّدَتْ
قَيْدارَ تُبْدِي العِلَّةَ المَعْلولا
