إنَّ النَّصَارَى واليَهودَ مَعاشِرٌ

جُبِلوا على التَّحْرِيفِ والتبْدِيلِ

Christians and Jews are groups

Who were created prone to distortion and alteration

لوْ أنَّ فيهمْ عُوَّرٌ عَنْ باطِلٍ

أَبْقَوْا على التَّوراةِ وَالإِنجِيلِ

Had there been anything false in them from falsehood

They would have kept to the Torah and the Gospel
