أمًّا المَحَبَّةُ لِمَنْ فَهِيَ بَذْلُ نُفُوسِ

فَتَنَعَّمِي يَا مُهْجَتِي بالبُوسِ

Motherly love is the offering of souls

So revel, my beloved, in kisses

بَذَلَ المُحِبُّ لِمَنْ أَحَبَّ دُمُوعَهُ

وَطَوَى حَشَاهُ عَلَى أَحَرِّ رَسِيسِ

The lover offered to the one he loved his tears

And folded his robe over the hottest embers

صَدِّقْ وَقُلْ مَنْ لَمْ يَقُمْ كَقِيامِهِ

لَمْ يَنْتَفِعْ مِنْهُ امْرُؤٌ بِجُلُوسِ

Believe and say, he who did not stand like him

No man benefited from him while sitting

قَبِلَ الإلهُ تَقَرُّبِي بِمَدِيحِهِ

وَتَوَجُّهِيلِجنَابِهِ المَحْرُوسِ

God accepted my approach through His praise

And my orientation towards His protected throne

رُمْتُ المَسِيرَ إلَيْهِ أَعْجَزَنِي السُّرَى

وَأبَاحَنِي مَرْآهُ غَيْر يَئُوسِ

My journey towards Him disabled me, while hope

Enabled me, its vision not despairing

أكْرِم بِيَوْمِ الأرْبَعَاءِ زِيَارَةً

لَكَ إنَّهُ عِنْدِي كَأَلْفِ خَمِيسِ

Honor with a visit on Wednesday

To you - for me it is like a thousand Thursdays

كُلُّ اتِّصالاتِ السَّعِيدِ سَعِيدَةٌ

بِمَثَابَةِ التَّثْلِيثِ وَالتَّسْدِيسِ

Every connection of the fortunate is felicitous

شَرَفاَ لِشَاذِلَةٍ وَمرْسِيَةٍ سَرَتْ

لَهُمَا الرِّياسَةُ مِنْ أجَلِّ رَئِيسِ
