ألَمْ يسكُبِ الرَّوْضُ أحلامَهُ
ويَهْدي إليكِ رحيقَ الزُّهُور
Did not the garden pour out its dreams
And offer you the scent of flowers?
وتَشْدو الغُصون لُحونَ الهَوى
تُناجي الحَمامَ وتُشْجي الطُّيور
Do not the branches sing love's tunes
Conversing with the doves, inciting birds?
وأنتِ تَطوفينَ من حَوْله
تَمُدِّينَ أنْفاسَهُ بالعُطور
And you go round about it
Sweetening its breaths with fragrance,
وتُلقينَ في راحَتيْهِ الضُّحى
وإنَّ أظْلَمَ اللَّيْلُ شَلال نُور
Casting morning's radiance into its palm.
When the dark night is but a cascade of light.
