Do not ask me constantly coming and going,

Who was it that closed the doors on you?

Do not ask me where is your inheritance from your father,

But where is my inheritance, stern and scriptural?

I am in the prisons of illusion like you, shackled,

I wasted my life in sorrow and torment.

Lies are the mark of civilization, so beware,

O mother, if talk were to sweeten and please.
