وما التذاذي بدنيا ما بلغتُ بها

‏طيب الحياة ولا جادت بحاجاتي

I have no joy in this life that does not fulfill

My needs nor brings me comfort and tranquility

‏ياضيعة العمر إن ولّى بلا هدف

‏إن ترض عنّي فقد أدركتُ غاياتي

A life without purpose is time gone to waste
