O Commander of the Faithful, and those who support Islam
Its excellent virtues radiate with splendor
And O King, every land yearns
For the land in which you settled with longing
A day that has not yet come yearns for you
And the bygone past complains of separation
You complained, so which heart is not aggrieved?
And which life did not taste bitterness?
If it were not for the kindness of reverence, we would
Burn in the fire of passion, burning fiercely
