1. أعليتَ دينَ الواحِدِ القهَّارِ

    بالمشرفيةِ والقَنَا الخطَّار

    You have exalted the religion of the One Almighty

    With Al-Mushrifiya and the dangerous Al-Qanat

  2. ورأى بكَ الإسلامُ قُرَّةَ عَينِهِ

    وغدَت بك الغراءُ دارَ قرارِ

    And Islam saw comfort in its eyes through you

    And Al-Ghra became a land of stability through you

  3. وسلكتَ من طُرقِ الهداية لاحباً

    طُوبى لمن يمشي على الآثار

    And you took the paths of guidance enthusiastically

    Good fortune belongs to those who follow the traces

  4. وَجَرت معاليكُم إلى الأمدِ الذي

    بعُدَت مسافته على الأسفار

    And your sublime deeds have flowed to the extent

    Whose distance has been too far for travels

  5. وقفت على ما قد أردت سعادةٌ

    وقفت عليها خدمةُ الأقدارِ

    You have attained the happiness you wanted

    Your service of fate has attained it

  6. لا تخلقُ الأيامُ جدَّةَ ملككُم

    أبداً ولا تبلى على الأعصارِ

    The days do not create any newness to your kingdom

    Nor does time wear it down through the ages

  7. لا غروَ أن كنتَ الأخيرَ زمانُهُ

    فالفضلُ للآصالِ والأسحارِ

    It is no wonder that you were the last of its era

    For precedence belongs to the latecomers and the dawns

  8. وافيتَ أندلساً فأمنَ خائفٌ

    وسما لأخذِ الثارِ ربُّ الثارِ

    You came to Andalusia so the frightened became secure

    And the Lord of vengeance rose to take vengeance

  9. وحللتمُ جبلَ الهُدى لحللتُمُ

    منهُ عقُود عزائمِ الكفارِ

    You unlocked the mountain of guidance so you unlocked

    From it the knots of the infidels' resolves

  10. جبلَ الهُدى والفتحِ والنصرِ الذي

    سبقت بشائرُهُ إلى الأمصار

    The mountain of guidance, victory, and triumph whose

    Tidings had reached all the lands beforehand

  11. لو بدلُوا أقدامُهم بقوادمٍ

    طارُوا عن الأوطانِ كلَّ مطارِ

    If they substituted their feet with racers

    They would have flown from the homelands like every flier

  12. لو راءَ مُوسى ما فعلتَ وطارِقٌ

    زريا بما لهما من الآثارِ

    If after Moses there was what you did and Tariq

    Ziryab with what they both left of traces

  13. أتممتَ ما قد أمَّلُوه ففاتُهُم

    من نصرِ دينِ الواحِدِ القهَّارِ

    You fulfilled what they had wished but missed

    From the victory of the religion of the One Almighty

  14. بعرابِ خيلٍ فوقهُنَّ أعارِبٌ

    من كل مقتحمٍ على الأخطارِ

    With Arabian horses atop which are desert Arabs

    Fearless of every daring raider

  15. أكرِم بهنَّ قبائلاً إقلالُها

    في الحربِ يُغنيها عنِ الإكثارِ

    You have honored tribes whom fighting

    Suffices over proliferating in war

  16. وانظر إذا اصطفت كتائبُها إلى

    ما تحمَدُ الكُتَّابُ في الاسطارِ

    And look when its brigades line up to

    What writers praise in lines

  17. لو أنها نصرت علياً لم تَرد

    خَيلُ ابنِ حربٍ ساحَةَ الأنبارِ

    If it had supported Ali, the horses of Ibn Harb

    Would not have returned to the plains of Anbar

  18. هم أظهرهُ معَ النبيِّ وواجِبٌ

    أن يُتبِعُوا الإظهارَ بالإظهارِ

    They showed it with the Prophet, and it is incumbent

    To follow showing with showing

  19. مَلِكَ المُلُوكِ لَقَد أنِفت إلى العُلا

    ونظرتَ من فوقِ إلى الأقدارِ

    O King of Kings, you have indeed risen to the height

    And looked down from above at the foreordained

  20. أنتَ السبيلُ إلى النجاةِ فكلنا

    لولاكَ كان على شفيرٍ هارِ

    You are the path to salvation, so we are all

    Without you on the brink of an abyss

  21. وجريتَ في نصرِ الإلهِ إلى مدى

    يَكبُو وراءَكَ فيهِ كُلُّ مجارِ

    And you have strived in supporting God to an extent

    Beyond which every strider lags behind you

  22. قد ضاقَ ذَرعُ الكُفرِ منكَ وأهلُهُ

    بموفقِ الإيرادِ والإصدارِ

    The disbelief has been frustrated by you and its people

    By the blessing of giving and bestowing

  23. متحمِّلٌ أعباءَ كُلِّ عظيمةٍ

    بالنفعِ والإضرارِ

    Bearing the burdens of every great feat

    With benefit and harm

  24. ملئت بهِ الدنيا صفاءَ بعدما

    ملئت من الأقدارِ والأكدارِ

    You have filled the world with serenity after

    It was filled with foreordained destinies and afflictions

  25. أخليفةَ المهديِّ دُمت مؤيداً

    باللَه منتقماً من الكفار

    O deputy of al-Mahdi, you have remained supported

    By God, avenging the infidels

  26. ترمي شياطينَ الأعادي في الوغى

    برجومِ خيلٍ من سماءٍ غُبارِ

    You pelt the devils of enemies into confusion

    With the shooting stars of a horse troop in the dusty sky

  27. روَّعت كل مروعٍ وحفظت كُل

    لَ مضيعٍ وحميت كل ذمارِ

    You have frightened every frightening one, and guarded every

    Unattended, and protected every protege
