أحاذِرُ أَن أجيئَكَ ثُمَّ تَحبُو

حِباءَ أَبيكَ يَومَ صُنَيبِعاتِ

وَكانَت غَدرَةً شَنعاءَ تَهفُو

تَقَلَّدَها أَبوكَ إِلى المَماتِ

تَتابع سَبعة كانوا لِأُمٍّ

كَأَحراجِ النعامِ الحائِراتِ
