    My ribs are his garden, and my tears his pool.

  3. He passed by, guarding a mouth with the sword of his glance;

    Whenever its blossom is smelled, its radiance increases.

  4. I marvel at the wine in his eyelid:

    How can it remain, with that lid forever breaking?

  5. And at the unread script upon his cheek,

    Its written text dotted by the mole.

  6. I spent the night fearing the slender-waisted one's distance,

    For a steed's leanness may carry it far away.

  7. Ah, the lot-caster with Hayki secretly in mind—

    Indeed, his arrow and his secret intent have won,

  8. Just as one escapes from foes, with Mujir al-Din

    His protector from the calamity of Time.
