1. خفقان قلب الشعر ، أم خفقاني

    أم أنه لهب من الأحزان

    The throbbing of poetry's heart, or my throbbing?

    Or is it a flame from sorrows?

  2. ماذا يقول محدثي؟ أحقيقة

    ما قال ، أم ضرب من الهذيان؟!

    What does my talker say? The truth

    What he said, or a kind of delirium?!

  3. ما لي أرى ألفاظه كحجارة

    ترمي بها الأفواه للآذان

    Why do I see his words like stones

    Thrown by mouths to ears

  4. الشيخ مات" عبارة ما خلته

    إلا كصاعقة على الوجدان

    "The Sheikh died," a phrase that did not leave him

    Except like a thunderbolt on the conscience

  5. أو أنها موج عنيف جاءني

    يقتاد نحوي ثورة البركان

    Or is it a violent wave that came to me

    Leading me towards the eruption of the volcano

  6. يا ليتني استوقفت رنة هاتفي

    قبل استماع نداء من ناداني

    I wish I had stopped the ringtone of my phone

    Before hearing the call from the one who called me

  7. أو أنني أغلقت كل خطوطه

    متخلصا من صوته الرنان

    Or that I closed all its lines

    Getting rid of his melodious voice

  8. الشيخ مات" أما لديك عبارة

    أخرى ، تعيد بها اتزان جناني

    "The Sheikh died" Don't you have another phrase

    That brings back the balance of my gardens

  9. قل لي بربك أي شيء ، ربم

    أنقذتني من هذه الأشجان

    Tell me for God's sake anything, maybe

    You saved me from this affliction

  10. قل لي بربك أي شيء ، قال لي

    عجبا لأمرك يا فتى الفتيان

    Tell me for God's sake anything, he told me

    Strangely enough, O young men

  11. أنسيتَ أن الموت حق واقع

    ونهاية كتبت على الإنسان؟!

    Did you forget that death is a real fact

    And an end written on man?!

  12. أنسيتَ أن الموت حق واقع

    وجميع من خلق المهيمن فان

    Did you forget that death is a real fact

    And all those created by the All-Dominant perish

  13. أنسيتَ ؛ لا والله لكني إلى

    باب الرجاء هربت من أحزاني

    Did you forget; No, by God, but I fled

    To the door of hope from my sorrows

  14. "الشيخ مات" صدقتَ ، إني مؤمن

    بالله ، مجبول على الإذعان

    "The Sheikh died" you were right, I am a believer

    In God, inclined to submission

  15. الشيخ ، لا بل قلعة العلم التي

    ملئت برأي صائب وبيان

    The Sheikh, no, rather say the fortress of knowledge that

    Was filled with sound opinion and statement

  16. هو قلعة العلم التي بنيت على

    ثقة بعون الخالق المنان

    It is the fortress of knowledge that was built on

    Trust in the help of the Bestower

  17. وأمامها هزمت دعاوى ملحد

    وارتد موج البغي والبهتان

    And before it the claims of an atheist were defeated

    And the wave of tyranny and falsehood retreated

  18. وتطايرت شبه العقول لأنه

    وجدت بناء ثابت الأركان

    And the suspicions of minds flew away because

    It found a building with firm pillars

  19. أنست بها نجد ، ومهبط وحين

    واسترشد القاصي بها والدَّاني

    Najd forgot it, and the place of revelation

    And the far and near were guided by it

  20. هو قلعة ظلت تحاط بروضة

    خضراء من ذكر ومن قرآن

    It is a fortress that was always surrounded by a green garden

    Of mention and Qur’an

  21. صان الإله بها عقيدة أمة

    في عصرنا المتذبذب الحيران

    God protected through it the doctrine of a nation

    In our confused and perplexed era

  22. ماذا تقول قصائد الشعر التي

    صارت بلا ثغر ولا أوزان؟!

    What do poems of poetry say that

    Became without a mouth or scales?!

  23. ماذا تقول عن "ابن باز" إنه

    ستظل عاجزة عن التبيان

    What do you say about "Ibn Baz"? That it

    Will remain incapable of explanation

  24. ماذا تقول عن التواضع شامخ

    وعن الشموخ يحاط بالإيمان؟

    What do you say about the towering humility?

    And about the ambition surrounded by faith?

  25. ماذا تقول عن السماحة والنهى

    عن فقه هذا العالم الرباني؟

    What do you say about forgiveness and preventing

    The jurisprudence of this divine world?

    حزن القلوب ، وأدمع الأجفان

    كل القلوب مشاعر اطمئنان

    All hearts feelings of reassurance

  30. ما زلت أذكر صوته يسري إلى

    أعماقنا بمودة وحنان

    I still remember his voice permeating

    Our depths with affection and tenderness

  31. يُفتي وينصح مرشدا وموجه

    ومعلما للناس دون توان

    He gives fatwas and advises as a guide, mentor

    And teacher of people without hesitation

  32. نور على الدرب" ارتوى من فقهه

    وسرت منابعه إلى الظمآن

    “Light on the path” quenched from his jurisprudence

    And his springs flowed to the thirsty

  33. يا رب قد أصغت إليك قلوبن

    وتعلقت بك يا عظيم الشان

    O Lord, You have lent Your ear to our hearts

    And we clung to You, O Almighty

  34. الشيخ مات" عليه أندى رحمة

    وأجل مغفرة من الرحمن

    "The Sheikh died," May God's mercy and

    Great forgiveness from the Merciful rain on him.
