رفع الحيَاءُ بكَ اللِّواءَ ومجَّد

وإليكَ أهدى حُبَّهُ وتودَّدا

Modesty raised the banner for you and glorified,

And dedicated his love and affection to you.

ورآكَ جيش العُسرةِ الكفَّ التي

تعطي وسلَّمكَ السَّخاء المقودا

And the army of hardship saw you as the hand

That gives and surrendered to your guided generosity.

يا قلب ذي النورين ، مازال الرِّض

بالله يمنحك المقام الأمجدا

O heart with two lights, satisfaction

With God still grants you the most glorious position.

حتى الملائك تستحي لمَّا ترى

وجهاً كريما بالحياءِ تودَّدا

Until the angels are shy when they see

A generous face being affectionate.

في روضِ جودكَ يا ابن عفان التقى

كرمٌ وإخلاصٌ وفيكَ توحَّدا

In the garden of your generosity, O son of Affan,

Generosity, sincerity and uniqueness in you met.

للمَال في يدك الكريمة موقعٌ

ويظلُّ قلبكَ عن ثرائكَ أبعدا

For money in your generous hand there is a place

While your heart remains far from your wealth.

لله درُّكَ أيها الشَّهم الذي

بسخائه وبجودهِ بلغ المدى

May God bless you, O noble one who

With his generosity and benevolence reached the furthest extent.

بايعتَ في الرضوان بيعة غائبٍ

مدَّ الرسول لخالقها اليدا

You pledged allegiance in consent absentee

The Messenger extended his hand to its Creator.

شرفٌ وربك يا ابن عفان ارتقى

بكَ في المكارمِ و المفاخرِ سيدا

Honor, and your Lord, O son of Affan, ascended

With you in merits and pride the master.

تلميذ مدرسة النبوة ، أنه

لأعزَّ مدرسةٍ تعلمنا الهدى

A disciple of the school of prophecy, he

Of the most honorable school taught us guidance.
