1. تبقى الحصون منيعةً أسوارها

    مادام يرفع باليقينِ شعارُها

    The fortresses remain impregnable

    As long as the banner of certainty is raised

  2. وتظلُّ تهنأ بالربتيع رياضُها

    وتزفُّ أشذاء الرضا أزهارها

    And its meadows continue to flourish

    Scattering the petals of joy and delight

  3. تجري سواقي الحبِّ في ساحاتها

    وتهُّز أشواق الثرى أمطارُها

    Streams of love flow through its courtyards

    And passions of the earth shake its rains

  4. تتمايلُ الأغصان تنثر طَلَّها

    وبها تميل إلى الأكفِّ ثمارُها

    The branches sway scattering their foliage

    And fruits lean toward outstretched hands

  5. للهِ دركِ يا رياضَ محبَّةٍ

    غنَّت بلحن جمالها أطيارُها

    Praise be to these gardens of love

    Whose birds sing the tune of its beauty

  6. زحفتْ إلى الحلم الجميل رمالها

    وتشبثت بجبالها أحجارها

    Its sands crawled toward the beautiful dream

    And its rocks clung to its mountains

  7. وتقاربت أطرافها حتى شدا

    بفم الإخاءِ كِبارُها وصغارُها

    Its parts drew nearer until the elders

    And the young joined mouths in brotherhood

  8. فيها محجَّتُها المضيئة ، ليلها

    مستبشرٌ بضيائها ونهارها

    Its shining lighthouse, its night and daytime

    Hopeful because of its light and sun

  9. بالعلمِ والإيمانِ يرفع شأنها

    وبهمَّة الأبطال تحمى دارها

    It is elevated by science and faith

    And its home is protected by heroes

  10. علماؤها وولاتُها ، وقضاتها

    ودعاتُها جمُلَتْ بهم أخبارها

    Its scholars, rulers, judges, and preachers

    Have composed the tale of its chronicles

  11. في قصة الشيخين حين تعاهدا

    تبدو معالمُ أشرقت أنوارُها

    In the story of the two sheikhs when they allied

    The features of its illuminated lights appeared

  12. لمَّا تحالف شيخُها وإمامُها

    خرجت إلى نور الهدى أقطارها

    When its sheikh and imam joined forces

    Its regions set forth toward the light of guidance

  13. وتجمعت بعد الشتات ، فضمَّها

    عبد العزيز وقد أُقيل عثارُها

    And united after dispersion, contained by

    Abdulaziz after its burdens were released

  14. بوابةٌ فتحت على واحاتنا

    فسرى إلينا شيحُها وعرارُها

    It opened a door to our oases

    So its sheikh and bachelors came to us

  15. من حول كعبتنا يتمُّ طوافُها

    ويعيشُ نعمة أمنِها عُمَّارُها

    Around our Kaaba its circumambulation is completed

    And its inhabitants live in the blessing of its security

  16. وربوعُ طيبتنا تمدُّ غصونها

    ليسير تحت ظلالها زوَّارُها

    The valleys of its goodness extend their branches

    So its visitors walk in their shade

  17. إرْثٌ عظيمٌ ورَّثتهُ شريعةٌ

    مازال يحمل عبئَها أنصارُها

    A great inheritance bequeathed by a law

    Still carried by its supporters

  18. أأَخا العقيدة ، و السعادةِ كلُّها

    في ديننا تجري به أنهارها

    Brother of creed and happiness - all of it

    Flows in our religion through its rivers

  19. شكرا لخدمة شِرعةِ الهادي التي

    ما زال يرفع في الوجودِ منارُها

    Thanks to the service of the guiding law which

    Still raises its minaret in existence

  20. تهُدي إليكَ قصيدتي من أحرفي

    لغةً عى معنى الوفاءِ مدَارُها

    My poem comes to you from my letters

    Revolving around loyalty and faithfulness

  21. جاءتكَ ترفلُ في ثيابِ مشاعري

    ومن الوفاءِ رداؤها وإزارُها

    Draped in my feelings it comes to you

    Its gown and mantle of loyalty and faithfulness

  22. في ليلة التكريمِ أشرقَ لحنُها

    لِمَ لا ، وقادَةُ علمها أقمارُها

    On the night of honor its melody shone

    As its scholars and leaders are moons

  23. يامن منحت العلم همَّةَ مصلحٍ

    حتَّى يطيب لأرضنا استقرارُها

    You who gave science the resolve of a reformer

    So settlement will be pleasing to our land

  24. دعني أبُح لك بالهموم فلم يزل

    يجري بها فوق الظلوع قطارُها

    Let me confess to you the concerns that have not ceased

    To flow above the horizons like a train

  25. في عصرنا يا ابن الكرامِ كما ترى

    ونرى ، شؤونٌ لا يقرُّ قرارُها

    In our era, O son of dignity, as you see

    And we see, affairs are unsettled

  26. فتنٌ تعالى في الفضاء ُخانُها

    وتأجَّجتْ في كلِّ أرضٍ نارُها

    Discords lofty in space - their betrayal

    And their fires blazed in every land

  27. فتنٌ يطوف في البلاد لهيبُها

    وبها يدورُ على الورى ديَّارُها

    Discords whose flames roam the countries

    And the abodes circle around them

  28. لكأنَّني بالأرض في دوَّامةٍ

    من حزنها مما جنى كفَّارُها

    As if the earth spins in a vortex

    Sad for what its infidels have reaped

  29. مَنَحتْ بإذنِ اللهِ خير كنوزها

    حتى تيسر للورى إعمارُها

    They were granted, by God's will, the best treasures

    To facilitate the prosperity of the world

  30. أيكونُ نكرانُ الجميل جزاءها

    منا ، فنرضى أن يسيء شرارُها ؟؟

    Is ingratitude to be its reward from us?

    Should we be content that its evil ones do wrong?

  31. إني لأسمتتعها تقولُ مقالةً

    تفضي بها واحاتُها وقفارُها

    I hear it say statements that empty

    Its oases and deserts with its talk

  32. ماذا أقول عن العراق وغزةٍ

    و النَّاطقانِ ركامُها ودمارُها ؟

    What can I say about Iraq and Gaza

    Whose rubble and destruction speak for them?

  33. وعيونُ أقصانا دموعٌ لم يزل

    يجري على ساحاتها مدرارها

    And the eyes of our most distant parts are tears that have not ceased

    To flow copiously through its fields

  34. سُرقتْ عباءتُها ، ومزِّق ثوبها

    وأضيعَ في يوم الزفافِ سِوارُها

    Their coats were stolen and clothes torn

    And their bracelets lost on their wedding day

  35. مالي وللأمم التي يُزري بها

    أيزيسها ، ويضلُّها عِشتارُها ؟

    What is wrong with me and the nations that are humiliated

    By their Isis who misguides and confuses them?

  36. مالي وللأمم التي تقتادُها

    أطماعُها ويسوقُها دولارُها ؟

    What is wrong with me and the nations led

    By their greed as the dollar leads and markets them?

  37. أنَّى أسير وراءها وهي التي

    ما زال يقطع دوحتي منشارُها ؟!

    How can I follow them when it is they whose

    Saws continually cut up my boards?!

  38. أيُعالَجُ الجرح العميقُ بمثلِهِ

    أتصونُ بائعة الهوى أطمارُها ؟!

    Can a deep wound be treated with its like?

    Will you protect the seller of passion?

  39. طَرَفانِ مذمومانِ حينَ تطرَّفا

    تعبت مراكبنا وزادَ عِثارُها

    Two condemned extremes when radicalized

    Weary our ships and increase their disabledness

  40. طَرَف التَّنطُّعِ في التَّديُّنِ لم يزلْ

    لغةٌ من الإرهابِ ثارَ غُبارُها

    The extreme of sanctimoniousness in religion has not ceased

    To be a language from whose terrorism the dust arose

  41. وتطرُّفٌ جلَبتهُ علمانيَّةٌ

    تُغوي العقول، غريبةٌ أطوارُها

    And the radicalism of secularism that deceives

    Minds - strange are its ways

  42. وكأنَّني بهما حليفا فتنةٍ

    ثقلت على أوطاننا أكدارُها

    As if I see them both allied to discord

    That weighed down heavily on our nations

  43. بئس الغلوُّ فإنَّهُ لَسجيَّةٌ

    للمارقينَ ، خيارُها أشرارُها

    Miserable is extremism for it is the character

    Of renegades whose good ones are evil

  44. بئس التنطُّعُ لا مكانَ لأهلهِ

    في أمَّة درْبُ الرَّشادِ مسَارُها

    Miserable is sanctimoniousness - it has no place

    Among a nation whose path of guidance is its course

  45. بئس التقدِّم حين يسرق حرَّةً

    من حِرْزِها حتى يضيعَ خِمارُها

    Miserable is progress when it steals freedoms

    From their sanctuaries until their veils are lost

  46. بئسَ التَّقدُّم حين يصبحُ نكسةً

    في الدينِ تنشُرُ بيننا أفْكارُها

    Miserable is progress when it becomes a setback

    In religion spreading ideas between us

  47. تشقى المبادئ حينَ يصبِحُ أهلُها

    تَبَعاً ، وحين يبيعها تجَّارُها

    Principles suffer when their people become

    Followers and when their merchants sell them

  48. للمُلْكِ أركانٌ تُثبتُ صرحهُ

    مهما دهاهُ من الخطوبِ سُعارُها

    The edifice of sovereignty has pillars that establish it

    No matter how much its troubles shake its walls

  49. دينٌ ، وأخلاقٌ ، وعلمٌ راسخٌ

    وعدالةٌ تبدو لنا آثارُها

    A religion, ethics, established science

    And justice whose effects we see

  50. إنَّ الممالِكَ كالرِّجالِ يصونُها

    ويعزها في العالمينِ وقارُها

    Kingdoms are like men - dignity and honor protect them

    And make them precious among worlds

  51. تبقى البلادُ عزيزةً بثباتِها

    وبحبِّ ما يدعو إليهِ خيارُها

    Lands remain esteemed by their steadfastness

    And by the love of what their good ones call to

  52. يحمي حماها حاكمٌ متمرِّسُ

    وبطانةٌ تصفو لهُ أفكارُها

    Their protector is an experienced ruler

    And advisors who refine their thoughts for him

  53. ويصونُها العلماءُ من نزقِ الهوى

    فيعزُّ ساكنها ويأمنُ جارُها

    The scholars protect it from the vileness of passions

    Honoring its inhabitants and securing its neighbors

  54. يرقى بأنفسنا اليقينُ إلى الذُّرى

    ويظلُّ يرفع شأنها إيثارُها

    Certainty elevates our souls to the highest

    And its preference remains raising its rank

  55. تبقى الشَّواطئ للسفينةِ مأمناً

    إن كان في بحر الردى إبحارُها

    The coasts remain a refuge for ships

    If sailing the sea of adversity is their course

  56. للهِ درُّ بلادنا ، مِنْهاجُها

    قرآنُها ، ودليلُها مُختارُها

    Praise be to our country, its approach

    Its Quran, its guide the chosen one

  57. هي دولةٌ بنيتْ على إسلامها

    وبهِ سيبقى عزُّها وفخارُها

    It is a state built on its Islam

    By which its honor and pride will remain
