1. تهبُّ الرِّياحُ و لا مَهْرَبُ

    فأرضُ الكِنَانَةِ لا تَلْعبُ

    The winds blow and there is no escape

    The land of Kinana does not play around

  2. ومِصرُ الكِنانَةِ تاريخُها

    ينابيعُ تُعطي و لا تنْضُبُ

    And Egypt's Kinana, its history

    Springs that give and do not run dry

  3. وشعبُ الكِنانَةِ لا ينْزوي

    و لا يَتَوارَى و لا يهرُبُ

    And Kinana's people do not withdraw

    Do not hide away or flee

  4. صبورٌ على ضيقِ أيَّامِهِ

    يُداري ويرْضَى ولا يشْغُبُ

    Patient with the hardship of their days

    Enduring, content, not rebellious

  5. ولكنَّهُ حينَما يصْطلي

    بِنَارِ الإهانَةِ لا يرْهَبُ

    But when insulted with the fire of disgrace

    They do not cower or fear

  6. ومَا شَعْبُ مِصرَ سوى قصَّةٍ

    بأقلامِ أمْجادِنا تُكْتَبُ

    And Egypt's people are but a story

    Written with the pens of our glories

  7. كذلكَ أُمَّتُنا ، قلبُها

    سليمٌ ومعْدِنُها طيِّبُ

    So too our nation, its heart

    Is healthy and its essence good

  8. وفيها شعوبٌ بإسلامِها

    تعزُّ ومنْ نبْعِهِ تشْربُ

    It has peoples with their Islam

    Honored, drinking from its spring

  9. شُعُوبٌ تمدُّ لحكَّامِها

    يَدَ الحبِّ إلاَّ إذاخرَّبوا

    Peoples who extend to their rulers

    The hand of love unless they ruin

  10. توطِّيء أكْنَافَها حينَما

    تُصانُ الحقوقُ و لا تُسْلَبُ

    Lower its wings when rights are protected

    And not robbed away

  11. تُسَلِّمُ حكَّامَها أمرَهَا

    إذا لمْ يخُونوا ولمْ ينْهبوا

    Hand over their affairs if not betrayed

    Or pillaged and plundered

  12. شعُوبٌ كرامَتُها دُرَّةٌ

    فلا تُسْتباحُ و لا تُثْقبُ

    Peoples whose dignity is a pearl

    Not to be violated or pierced

  13. شعوبٌ مشَاعِرُها عذْبةٌ

    ومَنْهَلُ إيمَانِها أعْذَبُ

    Peoples whose feelings are sweet

    And the spring of their faith purer

  14. تُحِبُّ الهدوءَ وتَرْضى بهِ

    ويُعْجِبُها روضُهُ المُعْشِبُ

    They love calm and accept it

    And its verdant meadow pleases them

  15. ولكِنَّها حينما تُزْدرَى

    وعن حقِّها في الورَى تُحْجَبُ

    But when degraded and denied

    Their rights in the world veiled

  16. تصيرُ الشُّعوبُ هُنَا جَمْرةً

    مؤَجَّجَةً ، نارُها تَلْهُبُ

    The peoples here become embers

    Ablaze, their fire flames

  17. أَيا شعبَ مِصرَ ويا نِيلَها

    ويا دوْحةً روضُها مُخْصِبُ

    Oh people of Egypt and its Nile

    And its palm-tree, its meadow fertile

  18. يُحَييكمُ المجْدُ مُستبشِراً

    بشمسٍ منَ العدْلِ لا تَغْرُبُ

    Glory greets you with tidings

    Of a sun of justice that will not set

  19. هوَ الحقُّ فجرٌ لأنْوَارِهِ

    بلاَبِلُ أُمَّتِنا تطْرَبُ

    It is truth, its light a dawn

    For which our nation yearns

  20. إذا انْتَشرَ العدْلُ في اُمَّةٍ

    سَمَا قدْرُها ونَجَا المَرْكَبُ

    When justice spreads in a nation

    Its value rises and the ship sails
